Can anyone tell me what 2nd Impact is supposed to be? It looks like normal 3rd strike but it seems to be cheaper in quality. There must be something I don't know about.
Oh, and if you're wondering why they're playing an older game, it's because it's balanced differently in multiple ways. For example Sean is pretty whoop-ass in SI, whereas they nerfed him in TS.
and, leap attack is much more stronger than 3s. Leap is fast, is easy to link to normal attack, that make it easy to do a SA confirmation. In 3s, leap attack is much slower, is hard to link to normal attack, and require special tech to link to a SA. Ibuki's Hashinchu(break heart dash) SA is removed from 3s, whick also make her much weaker, I think.
Your absolutely right. Her SA3 was the main reason why Ibuki was so godlike in 2i. Linkable from anything and held a lot of versatility to control the ground with. If you think about it, Ibuki was the Chun-Li of 2i. Except she has a proper anti-air and faster.
im pretty sure most 3s players touched upon second impact, its a rly fun game to play...im wondering why alll of sudden they decide to produce tournaments of them
The funny thing is, during the New Years break, I was aching for more 3S action and stumbled upon a 2I machine at an old arcade near home, and the next thing I know, THESE matches are posted O_O I also thought they were new when I looked at new players in these matches like Opera (they ARE newer to a large extent, I reckon) :)
oops: I meant a bunch of these players are new sf players, somewhat, and that it tipped me off to these matches being new (or the vids AND the players coulda been SOOOOO old, that I never heard about them, but I doubt both cases). I just took it for granted that the 2I matches are new, even though 2I's starting to make a weird comeback :P
