  • Greatest song for REAL MEN ... EVER!!!!

  • Yeah- these guys are amazing live. I really hope they don't disband again. Their last album "Major Lodge Victory" was killer, and I have high hopes for "No Chocolate Cake" coming out in a few weeks. Here's hoping they keep making good music.

  • This song is the definition of what real country rock music sounds like. I love it!

  • I wish I could see these guys b4 they disband again..or b4 I die.. Love them since I was 14 and their music still reminds me the best of my youth

  • What Ryan Adams wishes he could write. New Miserable Exp. was and still is a solid, fantastic record.

  • Love just about all of their songs, but like this one the most.

  • i remember buy the cassette tape for album and everyone giving me strange looks when i pulled into the high school parking lot... I was like in gin blossoms... Theyonly listened to hey jealousy and radio hits... They missed out on a great album

  • I was very disliked myself in high school because I loved listening to the Gin Blossoms. People definately had no clue what they were missing by only listening to the tracks on the radio.

  • Just found my old Gin CD,Love it!

    When was this concert ?

  • Does Jesse sing this on the album? If he doesn't then him and Robin have close voices.

  • Yeah, Jesse sang "Cheatin'" on New Miserable Experience and "I Can Sleep" and "Fireworks" on Dusted. His solo album is also worth picking up.

  • I already have it "TUnes Young people will enjoy" Its good

  • yeah he sings it on the album. He sung a few other songs such as "I Can Sleep" "Somethings Wrong" "Fireworks" and "California Sun"

  • Acording to Phill Doug wrote this song as a parodey of the country songs out at the time. Its a good song and Jesse sings it well.

  • My wife has already hated this song! ;)

  • Galveston is in Texas...i always wondered about that as well, good song.

  • But Galveston is in Texas. That's what always had me wondering...

  • I love this song, but I never understood the line "back in Galveston beneath the Georgia moon." Is that what he says?

  • yeah, he's reminding himself of when they were together, beneath the georgia moon

  • But Galveston is in Texas.

  • Yea I always wondered abouth that lyric?

    Texas not Georgia.
