Yeah- these guys are amazing live. I really hope they don't disband again. Their last album "Major Lodge Victory" was killer, and I have high hopes for "No Chocolate Cake" coming out in a few weeks. Here's hoping they keep making good music.
i remember buy the cassette tape for album and everyone giving me strange looks when i pulled into the high school parking lot... I was like in gin blossoms... Theyonly listened to hey jealousy and radio hits... They missed out on a great album
I was very disliked myself in high school because I loved listening to the Gin Blossoms. People definately had no clue what they were missing by only listening to the tracks on the radio.
Greatest song for REAL MEN ... EVER!!!!

What Ryan Adams wishes he could write. New Miserable Exp. was and still is a solid, fantastic record.

Does Jesse sing this on the album? If he doesn't then him and Robin have close voices.

Yeah, Jesse sang "Cheatin'" on New Miserable Experience and "I Can Sleep" and "Fireworks" on Dusted. His solo album is also worth picking up.

Acording to Phill Doug wrote this song as a parodey of the country songs out at the time. Its a good song and Jesse sings it well.

I love this song, but I never understood the line "back in Galveston beneath the Georgia moon." Is that what he says?
