Yes, Sri Sankaracharya indeed composed it. What devotion and Prema Bhakti He had for Sri Jagannath is clear from His writing here.

He was Lord Shiva Himself and had come to mislead atheists who would like to equate themselves as God by preaching Advaita. Whereas He glorified eternal Personal Form of Krishna in so many ways. Including His famous - Bhaja Govindam - He advises everybody to take shelter of Govinda and be away from dry logical arguments.

Actually this was created by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya , Sri Chaitanya might have recited it , I am not questioning that, but your video gives the impression that it was written by him too...Just wanted fellow devotees to know this, so they dont make a mistake...HariOm..Hari Bol
