I can't completely agree with Limmy. My girlfriend and I were in Paris last weekend. We were in the subway looking at a map in our travel book, and some asshole came up and spit in our faces and ran away - landed a gob right on the cheek. I have friends from Paris who are lovely, but apparently there are a few assholes there as well.

I'm French, and I always believed that England is the brother of France, or at least part of a family. They fought many times, they went from close friends to rivals, back & forth, but at the end of the day, they still are as close as they come. They look like they always want to prove who is the strongest, the smartest, etc. Hereditary rivals such as France & England (perhaps the biggest rivalry in History IMO) always had claims over each other's countries, and that shows even more the links.
The thing with France actually, is that they don't like the English/Americans. However, they do like Scottish people (Probably because they have a reputation of also not liking said people). Often I was mistaken as an English person and they were fairly rude, but those who realised/were told I was Scottish were polite.

Its been a while you posted this vid but Im french and i must say i didnt know that some people in the world still believe in all these cliches you explain here. At the end, of course everybody will have his own opinion but the truth is that theres idiots everywhere as theres nice people everywhere. Its never a question of country. I'm French, and I always believed that England is the brother of France, or at least part of a family. They fought many times, they went from close friends to rivals, back & forth, but at the end of the day, they still are as close as they come. They look like they always want to prove who is the strongest, the smartest, etc. Hereditary rivals such as France & England (perhaps the biggest rivalry in History IMO) always had claims over each other's countries, and that shows even more the links.

The thing with France actually, is that they don't like the English/Americans. However, they do like Scottish people (Probably because they have a reputation of also not liking said people). Often I was mistaken as an English person and they were fairly rude, but those who realised/were told I was Scottish were polite.
