  • In this particular video do you recall what the patient's comments were regarding your techniques.

  • I use this technique on all my clients. They love it. I use the ulnar side of my hand and my fingers...not the thumbs! Gotta save the thumbs!

  • ... you won't be able to do this technique long as it will trash your thumbs... there are other ways of getting in there while saving your thumbs....

  • So relaxing to watch. Thanks for posting!!

  • This guy must not know it's way easier to just put the client's hand behind their back and the scapula should stick right out. If the muscles are tense it will help to lift the shoulder like that but I try not to cuz it's a bit strenuous for me

  • @lllaurenstinson The point is some people cannot put the arm in that position and/or maybe unwilling to do so. This is another option

  • the music i think is something super mario related

  • @noway2you

Why the F u watch this shit Arnie ? ( Weirdo:))

  • @zxtcs cause i plan on becoming a doctor after school

  • I need this massage

  • Wess looks like David Cross.

  • What is this music called?

  • i think i need that kind of shoulder massage

  • that looks like it hurts

  • Ive been thinking about taking a massage class in college, ive always loved giving/ receiving massages, should i do it?

  • @Whitekongpower That should be a fun and informative class, I would take it.

  • Go for it! If you are a graduate of High School and took Anatomy and Physiology, you will have and idea.

I did not go to HS. but I went ahead and got in school. the course was 6 months, but it took me 2 years to finish 500 hrs. Now I am studying to present my exam for my license very soon!. I still need more help with the origins and insertions of the muscles.

I find these videos fascinating and very informative. I wish my instructors had the skills of this wonderful man.

    I just became a Fan!

  • @Whitekongpower i take one and i love it...you just have to stay focused because there is a lot to learn

  • Lengthen the spine, free the neck, balance the head atop the neck and ears over shoulders. It is great to keep the latissimus dorsi at a lengthened state. I have discovered that this muscle pair has adopted a shrunken state because of my once poor posture. They actually pull down on my shoulders as I otherwise lift up. Now that I am in the midst of a program to lengthen this muscle pair I have realized that it is the reason for my inconsistent and poor posture. Enjoyed your massage video.

  • Good video, although the lighting is reminiscent of a porno shoot in a K-mart.

  • @jnguil10 I was thinking 80's/early 90's porno or infomercial.

  • I LOVE this one. That looks like it feels AMAZING! One of the greatest places I love having worked on is right around my scapula... and I usually do it while practicing in school on other people. I will definitely do these techniques in my practicum course next semester and see how people respond

  • mr bodywork .. my left shoulder .on the joint capsule area hurts so bad if i touch it feels like needles and on a scale of one to 10 is a 10 when i touch it i cant stand it ,its been like this for years ,,what can it be since i cannot stand the massage on that area .

  • 2:53 i know i would be cured of should pains after i jog if i got one of those once a month

  • is this a technique that is taught everywhere ? or is it yours alone ? i ask because i do not live near you and i would like to get this type of massage. that is exactly where i have my shoulder problems . thanks for the vids!

  • I feel guilty getting a massage...is that weird?I have just grown up in a really high stress enviornment and I was never allowed to be stressed or sore and if I was,I felt guilty for it.

  • This is one of the massage techniques that I struggled to do today in college, so these videos should help anyone learning life myself, thanks so much for uploading!

  • @char40365 as with manny techniques there are many ways to do them....Im glad ya found this one useful, I use it all the time

  • For someone who has some nerve entrapment from shortening of the scalenes, the upward motions could easily flare things up a bit. I use similar techniques, but always moving out rather than upwards and for strokes going up the rhomboids, I make sure the scapula is depressed into my underneath hand. This move is great for folks who don't let go real well. {:D

  • the dude at the beginning looks like david cross.

  • This man speaks the truth yet he is shun for it. Shame on you racist people.

  • That one pasty-ass muthafucka!

  • haha, i think that was one of the hariest backs ive ever seen! lool, but that massage looked VERY good. i would kill for a massage like that, my shoulder have massive knots im very tight and stressed.

  • That back is not hairy, I am a massage therapist and have some werewolf backs that I've had to massage and it's nasty! I advise everyone to wax or shave hairy backs, they're a major turn-off.

  • @SophieCalifornia lmfao!! werewolf backs...That's hilarious. I know what you mean though. It's unsettling

  • @SophieCalifornia People pay you to use your hands to relax us not to judge ;)

  • That's the exact area I feel I need the most work on. Would like to show any future masseuse of mine this video. It's rare that someone hits it perfectly but this looks like the technique to use (as opposed to the putting the arm behind the back method)

  • i've had clients where i couldn't use this technique on them what so ever. it all depends how lax theirnmuscles your muscles are. If you're a brick then the arm behind the back method is all that's going to work.

or your massage therapist just sucks :P it happeneds.

  • hah.. maybe.

  • xD, totally agree

  • hooker doesnt garner much respect so check yourself at the door sir!

  • you really seem to be a bit knowlegdeable and i notice your hips are where much of your motion and rythm come from. caution you to keep your thumbs closer to your hand and make sure it stays in alignment with your wrist so you can continue your good work without injuring yourself. only in the beginning of this vid is it most apparent. It is as if you knew what was happening and corrected yourself as you moved into the J shaped stroke on top of the scapula. Thank you as this is a good video.

  • Massage my back!

  • I really love massage vids there soo relaxing thank you for uploading these fr8 vids :).

  • ...that looks good, also have you considered that putting the associated arm in a passive hammerlock/chicken wing, applying gentle leverage to the elbow...according to the informed (as noted in the intake form and prior questioning)tolerances of your client/subject...

  • intentionally didn't show that due to the potential damage that could be cause by improper use of the technique......also some elderly clients are unable to put their arm in that position.......

  • Yippie another massage video...whats up with the volume???

  • editting issues

  • Nice...hope you had a good break between videos
