I am from Rayalaseema. If GO 610 be striclty implemented. 20,000 Crores of fund for the over all development of infrastructue, irrigation projects be give. The memebers from the JAC of Telangana be incharge to oversee the implementation of the monies. Hospitals (Apollo, Care etc), educational institutions, Software companies (Google, Yahoo etc) be asked to set up their offices in Telangana., an airport in Karimnagar.If these are sanctioned and strictly implemented then no need break the state.

Vizag, Vijayawada, Tirupathi any of these places should be made the capital of rest of AP (leaving telangana). These places have to be developed as a capital which means infrastructure should be developed. Just imagine the amount of fertile land in these districts be converted to concrete jungles! Suppose Hyderabad is with in the 30-60 kms radius we have to do the same for these cities aswell. If the same is done how many fertile lands would become concrete jungles?
Guys..Please dont go by emotions. Use your brains. I am from bhimavaram we have properties in guntur. Real estate is soaring here. If we have our seperate state we will have capital city and all government jobs will be here. And all our investors will return to andhra in 5-10 years.

Asking for separate state does not mean hating any to core. Vigorous debates and disgreements are a sign of mature democracy. Million disagreements and arguments are better than stoning, burning single bus. None of us may be in a joint family today. Separate state is to get more autonomy, dedicated budget, more to take care of things oneself. At the core we are Indians still and must live together even if in separate states.
The best option now is forming two states..andhra and telangana...hyd will be with center and common capital for 25 years with revenue shared by all the regions..

Separate state may not solve everything either. It just helps alleviate- at least that region will have some guaranteed budget, resources and focus. Even that is a gain.

Finally coming to Telangana Region(the then Hyderabad State), when India got the idependence, the Nizams demanded to mix up with Pakistan as the left out area was still under Muslim Control...but the then PM Nehru did not accept with the reason of Demography and the actual people who stay in that region(dominantly Telugu Speaking).
India Republic forced Nizams to make the Hyderabad state(current Telangana) to be part of India.
End of 18th century, they ceded (which mean surrendered) some part which is currently called Rayalaseema. Agian Nizams were just trying to save themselves from British and Surrendered some part.
Early 16th century -- Andhra country was ruled by Nizams with Andhra Pattanam as capital (the current Warangal was then called as Andhra Pattanam)
Early 18th century, they lost circar(alias northern circar alias current coastal Andhra) to Madras British provincy... which clearly shows the impotency of Nizams to protest British.

Other than coal mines, what natural resources does telangana have? Andhra and Seema regions collectively have lot of mica mines, iron ore, slate mines, and so on. Godavari, Prakasam and Nellore districts are supplying more than 40 percent of aqua to rest of india and other parts of the globe. This region has oil and lot of other things. If people of this region are really selfish, they themselves can ask for a separate state.

Telangana does not solve it, but reduces it. It will have control over river waters in its region to allocate. We tried and failed with regional boards. We must try something. This is a promising quick remedy for allocation. Problem cannot wait until we change constition or courts decide disputes.
Why did Uppunuthala denied to take the charges of Regional Board - Telangana? Why it took almost for a fortnight for him to accept for the position? And what has he done for three years in that position? Isnt he a telangana leader?

You are heartless to believe farmers will commit suicides because their families will get money from govt. How do you explain farmer suicides before govt announced any money? The only reason for parting from Madras region was 'The administration was in different language than that people speak here.
In fact, the Gondi people of Adilabad district can ask for a separate state, no problem, the lambadi people of nijamabad, karimnagar, warangal and adilabad districts can ask for a separate state.
Same may apply for urdu speaking people in Hyd.
What is the need for asking separate state if all the GOs are published in the language you speak, you write and you understand?

Irrigation minister from Telangana, and regional board recommendations, don't have power to allocate fairly. Center is helpless and useless to resolve even inter-state river disputes. No chance of its help for intra-state fair allocation. Politicians do exploit any issue. But issue is urgent, painful and complex. How many farmers must die before we care?

DO you think leaders born outside 10 districts are capable of developing better and those inside 10 districts are useless fellows? Do you think politicians behave dependently based on where they come from? Politicians and CMs promised 610GO many many times. Where did it go? Regional development boards were tried for fair allocation of river waters? What did that do? If we talk about issues there is some hope of understanding or agreement. If we talk about politicians no use.

they are not asking their leaders to develop their place.they are saying that Andhra people didnt develop their place. Ponnala Lakshmayya is irrigation minister from the past 6 yrs. what he did for telangana?Devendar goud,Indra reddy, KK, Sreenivas there are so many ministers from telangana region. what they did for your region? but now all these are saying that they wnat telangana and they die for telangana. So it is all matter of politics not to develop telangana if it froms.

Please stop talking about death ratios. What kind of madness and unity is that? Talk about issues and come up with solutions. As long as root causes are not addressed with or without KCR,Lagadapati or any politicians, problems will continue to simmer. Allocation of fair share of water resources, 610GO implementation and few words to work together are needed to lower tempers. Not shouting, but showing unity, solving problems is needed. Please stop hate rhetoric before asking others to do it.

they will sacrify their life for telangana.only Mp s and MLA s have to do that not the common people. not only in telangana in andhra and rayalaseema also. based on the no of the MPs, MLAs and ministers death ratio we will divide the state. not the common man or students or any other common people. If there are more deaths of Mps or MLAs or ministers in telangana they have to give Telangana. if it is more in Andhra and Rayalaseema they have to give United AP. anyone is ready for that?

Vizag, Vijayawada, Tirupathi any of these places should be made the capital of rest of AP (leaving telangana). These places have to be developed as a capital which means infrastructure should be developed. Just imagine the amount of fertile land in these districts be converted to concrete jungles! Suppose Hyderabad is with in the 30-60 kms radius we have to do the same for these cities aswell. If the same is done how many fertile lands would become concrete jungles?

Guys..Please dont go by emotions. Use your brains. I am from bhimavaram we have properties in guntur. Real estate is soaring here. If we have our seperate state we will have capital city and all government jobs will be here. And all our investors will return to andhra in 5-10 years.
IT industry is in our hands, we can have our companies here. If we stay united hyderabad and its sorrounding areas are developing.If seperated Andhra state will develop at very fast pace. Think about it.

Brother- if real estate prices crash in hyderabad it is a good news. Any one has sympathy for it? Can a school teacher or a honest clerk in govt office afford a house in hyderabad with these crazy prices? It is good prices came down. This is good sign to start developing other areas. Even for nation's defense and security it is not wise to put so many industries and so much population in any one place.

Hyd real estate companies will go bankrupt.
This is called decentralization. Land rates in Nizambad and Karimnagar have already gone up. But in greater hyderabad..they have taken a very bad beating.

Stop mad reasoning of comparing separate state to separate country. We must learn to grow. When nuclear families breaking from joint families is accepted, how is separate state different? Supporters of unity want situation as it is. But situation as it is caused the problem. We can delay, but cannot deny statehood within Indian constitution.

Sweet talk of unity ignores harsh facts of reality. What is unity? If Assam soldier dies, don't we feel same as one from Telangana or Andhra? Stop sentiments and solve problems. We tried and failed with Regional Development Boards. Whoever opposes separate Telangana are good hearted people but no sense of history or reality. Gentleman's agreemnt wasflouted. Then 6-point plan went to dogs. 610GO never fully implemented. Separate Telangana was promised 2004 and 2009 elections. Why mess now?

it is not only with the real estate business. it will reflect in each every aspect. recently Obama said that dont go to AP, India. situation is very bad there. we will loose our tourists, software companies coming to Hyd. all will shift to Chennai or Bangalore. Asking for separate state does not mean hating any to core. Vigorous debates and disgreements are a sign of mature democracy. Million disagreements and arguments are better than stoning, burning single bus. None of us may be in a joint family today. Separate state is to get more autonomy, dedicated budget, more to take care of things oneself. At the core we are Indians still and must live together even if in separate states.

Siva is right-our ruling leaders dont have individuality. Any one counted how many trips CM(YSR/Rosiah) made to Delhi for every little decision? They consult Delhi before taking a minister or even going bathroom. This does not work. Telangana issues of misallocation of resources have no hope of solution in present system. Separate state may not solve everything either. It just helps alleviate- at least that region will have some guaranteed budget, resources and focus. Even that is a gain.

kalisi unte kaladu sukham is a proverb in telugu which is a better way of putting it across than , united we stand. Andhra Pradesh comprises three regions - Telangana, Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. Now the higher ups want to divide into parts? How many parts will it need to be divided, Two? Three? or four?. It looks as if all our politicians and leaders of the Andhra Pradesh have forgotten the age old proverb in their mother Tongue.

@thesaral.....Exactly, I was meant to say that....but I felt it is good to educate our Brothers/Sisters on our History.
The immediate better solution would be Making Intellectuals from all the Zones to sit together and discuss on whether to stay together or to Split.
If split is compulsory, discuss on how to step forward for the seperation... this would hold the respect for future.
I would strongly urge no POLITICIAN shuld be allowed for the discussion, but only INTELLECTUALS.

Finally coming to Telangana Region(the then Hyderabad State), when India got the idependence, the Nizams demanded to mix up with Pakistan as the left out area was still under Muslim Control...but the then PM Nehru did not accept with the reason of Demography and the actual people who stay in that region(dominantly Telugu Speaking).
India Republic forced Nizams to make the Hyderabad state(current Telangana) to be part of India.

End of 18th century, they ceded (which mean surrendered) some part which is currently called Rayalaseema. Agian Nizams were just trying to save themselves from British and Surrendered some part.

Early 16th century -- Andhra country was ruled by Nizams with Andhra Pattanam as capital (the current Warangal was then called as Andhra Pattanam)
Early 18th century, they lost circar(alias northern circar alias current coastal Andhra) to Madras British provincy... which clearly shows the impotency of Nizams to protest British.

Do you really think that after all this events that have happened off late it is possible to stay together. As an adviser to AP govt on development you would have traveled to many places and you should have seen the disparity in development with your own eyes. I am sad that you chose to express your support for the oppressors instead of the oppressed. BTW is a good song. I hope you see the plight of the telangana people and lend your voice for it too.

Its not god to fight between us. We all must fight for unity. Nieghbor states are looking for our division, they will benefit on our division. If we are so many MPs central is not caring us much if we divide and have few MPs they will not care us at all.

How do you know KCR gets lots of NRI funds? Do you believe there are more and richer and generous Telangana NRIs than non-Telangana NRIs? Second point- no amount of funds can make difference when there is unfair allocation of river waters. Money cannot buy water. Give water and tell any thing.

1) You said there is no develpement in Telanga, right? KCR & other Telangana politicians were elected in 2004, right? Then what did they do till now for you? First understand that they are "CORRUPT". You all know that KCR gets lot of NRI funds, then why are those funds not being utilized to develop Telangana?

Other than coal mines, what natural resources does telangana have? Andhra and Seema regions collectively have lot of mica mines, iron ore, slate mines, and so on. Godavari, Prakasam and Nellore districts are supplying more than 40 percent of aqua to rest of india and other parts of the globe. This region has oil and lot of other things. If people of this region are really selfish, they themselves can ask for a separate state.

@sivamyneni No- but predominantly. Rayalaseema also needs fair resource allocation. That is why problem is complex- and no one wants to solve hard problems. Preaching unity is easier than solving problems.

Again, we are not preaching unity. We meant it. The only reason behind this is, if we are week and the neighbouring states are big and strong, we wont get it.
Let SRC-2 come and break the entire nation to 100 small countries..., we dont have any problem in parting AP. The only fear that we have is loosing the negotiating power with center.

Telangana does not solve it, but reduces it. It will have control over river waters in its region to allocate. We tried and failed with regional boards. We must try something. This is a promising quick remedy for allocation. Problem cannot wait until we change constition or courts decide disputes.

You are heartless to believe farmers will commit suicides because their families will get money from govt. How do you explain farmer suicides before govt announced any money? Do you think farmers will read newspapers and consult what govt is giving before swallowing poison? Have you seen any farmer suicide and tears of their families? I am sad people believe such things.

You only said that it is in the hands of central government. If something is in the hands of central government, unity matters a lot. If we have more number of MPs, we have more chances of negotiating with the center.

Will go with whoever gives water to stop/reduce farmer suicides - be it Telanga, Tamilnadu, Moily or Maharashtra. Even dogs lead better life in many countries than our farmers. Why does unity is cause for so much pride, when we shamelessly keep seeing farmer suicides? What does AP govt do? Give money to families of farmers that died. That is not going to work any more.

The only reason for parting from Madras region was 'The administration was in different language than that people speak here.
In fact, the Gondi people of Adilabad district can ask for a separate state, no problem, the lambadi people of nijamabad, karimnagar, warangal and adilabad districts can ask for a separate state.
Same may apply for urdu speaking people in Hyd.
What is the need for asking separate state if all the GOs are published in the language you speak, you write and you understand?

If you want unity, stop saying you guys should ask your ministers. If I am for unity, I not you, fight for injustice wherever you live. Irrigation minister from Telangana, and regional board recommendations, don't have power to allocate fairly. Center is helpless and useless to resolve even inter-state river disputes. No chance of its help for intra-state fair allocation. Politicians do exploit any issue. But issue is urgent, painful and complex. How many farmers must die before we care?
