Ouija boards are for contacting evil spirits, that is forbidden by God and a foolish thing to do, it can lead to demonic oppression and even possession. I would be very curious to know the success rate at treating " demonic depression " with exorcism as opposed to more conventional methods. It would seem that if the " treatment " by an exorcist is unsuccesful, they simply state that the Devil killed them. There is no accountability that they are dealing with someone who may be suffering from a variety of disorders for which these exorcists have no training. There neglegence in these matters should be examined from a legal standpoint.
I am curious to know what training an exorcist from your organization recieves. Within the Catholic church there is are specific protocol which if not stricktley followed, are at least a guideline. While I strongly doubt the demonic possesion phenomenon, it would seem that the exorcism should be performed by a member of the clergy versed in not only historical occult theology related to the task at hand, but someone who is trained in recognizing if not treating mental disorders.
There is no better qulaification for exorcism than to be a born again, Spirit-filled, clean living child of God who knows the power of the name and the blood of Jesus. Religious people who are not born again but rely on rituals instead of on the Holy Spirit have no power to cast out demons.
Do you have any specific way in which you go about this or not? Once again you offer no actual information in regard to the person that you claim was killed by the devil. Can you be specific about anything that you have done in the aid of someone who was in need of exorcism? Simply saying that you are filled with the spirit of the lord doesn't really do much for your claims of battling with the devil now does it? You may be suffering from some form of delusion, and should seek treatment.

You don't build your life around Him. You die to the old life and are raised a new person with Jesus as Lord (baptism is symbolic of this). When His Spirit is in you, you change from the inside out. The way you see everything is different, you see things in the light of your new relationship with God and in the light of His word. If you love God, great, because no one goes to heaven because they are 'good person', only if they are saved person.

Jesus can give great experiences (and He does) but the Christian life is not based on those but on a personal relationship with God. Yes He does want us to be good people, but it is only by His righteousness (not our own) that we can be. If your heart is open to God then may He lead you into what He has for you.
this show called ghost hunters on SCIFI is about these guys who recieve calls from frightened ppl who believe to have ghosts in their house. they go with video cameras and other equipment and try to catch the ghosts and try to debunk the owners storys. if they cant debunk these stories they say the house is haunted. is what they r doing 'evil' if they r simply trying to put the owners minds at ease by placing cameras and other eqipment in the house and trying to debunk stories?

We have well over hundred videos on all types of subjects from a Christian point of view. But central to the Chrsitian faith is Jesus and the message of the cross. Christ died for sinners so they could be forgiven and have new life. But there are many things that draw people away from this good news and the path to life, the pull of the occult is one of them. Balance is needed. Yes, there is forgiveness and new life offered in Christ, but this offer requires a response from us.
Repentance precedes receiving God's forgiveness. If you are repentant about your use of a Ouija board, you are turning from it in which case why leave temptation lying around? Also occult objects attract demons. Burning it is a way of getting rid of it, and also of making a statement i.e. renouncing occult involvement. In Acts 19:19a they burned their magic books.

That was what I was thinking. When first using a Ouji board, there is always the question in one's mind if something will actually happen. This question is what fuels one to continue using a Ouija board. I think that anything that makes me curious about "signs" through the Oujia board is unholy. It says never to burn a ouija board, it is worse than playing with one. You are supposed to cut it up into 7 pieces, sprinkled with holy water, and buried.
Burn it or smash it up and throw it away, the end result is the same, it is gone. But there is no need for rituals or superstition. There is nothing wrong with burning it either, it is a good way to ensure no one else will use it.

Hi there. How do you know what Morrissey really believes? But regardless of whether he actually uses Ouija boards he is promoting the use of something very dangerous in this song and video. Famous people do have influence and the devil can use them to get his message across. That is why this video was made, to counteract it.
There is an answer for people who are lonely, but it cannot be found in a Ouija board. Being drawn into that deception will only make things worse. Jesus is the answer for the lost and lonely. He is the faithful Friend who listens and cares for the hurting.
Look around you at all that has been created (I am not talking about sin, but nature etc) there is a Creator. I am curious to know what training an exorcist from your organization recieves. Within the Catholic church there is are specific protocol which if not stricktley followed, are at least a guideline. While I strongly doubt the demonic possesion phenomenon, it would seem that the exorcism should be performed by a member of the clergy versed in not only historical occult theology related to the task at hand, but someone who is trained in recognizing if not treating mental disorders.

There is no better qulaification for exorcism than to be a born again, Spirit-filled, clean living child of God who knows the power of the name and the blood of Jesus. Religious people who are not born again but rely on rituals instead of on the Holy Spirit have no power to cast out demons.

Do you have any specific way in which you go about this or not? Once again you offer no actual information in regard to the person that you claim was killed by the devil. Can you be specific about anything that you have done in the aid of someone who was in need of exorcism? Simply saying that you are filled with the spirit of the lord doesn't really do much for your claims of battling with the devil now does it? You may be suffering from some form of delusion, and should seek treatment.

Contacting evil spirits is widely practiced today, relegating it to history makes you look ignorant. I am not saying it is good (obviously, hence the video) but it is certainly happening with or without the use of a Ouija board. A Ouija board is just a medium created for the purpose of doing so, it has no other purpose.

The spirits of the dead are either in heaven or hell, depending on whether or not they knew the Lord. Angels carry out the will of God and are therefore not linked to any occult activities. That leaves fallen angels, demons.

The way you see everything is different, you see things in the light of your new relationship with God and in the light of His word. Christ died for sinners so they could be forgiven and have new life. But there are many things that draw people away from this good news and the path to life, the pull of the occult is one of them. Balance is needed. Yes, there is forgiveness and new life offered in Christ, but this offer requires a response from us.

Repentance precedes receiving God's forgiveness. If you are repentant about your use of a Ouija board, you are turning from it in which case why leave temptation lying around? Also occult objects attract demons. Burning it is a way of getting rid of it, and also of making a statement i.e. renouncing occult involvement. In Acts 19:19a they burned their magic books.

That was what I was thinking. When first using a Ouji board, there is always the question in one's mind if something will actually happen. This question is what fuels one to continue using a Ouija board. I think that anything that makes me curious about "signs" through the Oujia board is unholy. "... if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." Knowing that a God exists is not enough. You need to know Him to be saved and the only way is through Jesus John 14:6.

Why go to the Ouija Board when we can go to the Lord Jesus Christ? The Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and Men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)
To those who are constantly looking for miracles or signs, Jesus says, "An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign." (Matthew 12:39). Are you seeking after a sign using the Ouija Board?

Why would the bible record it as Samuel speaking if it was just a familar spirit pretending? I just don't understand. thanks.

It was a vision of Samuel, not an evil spirit impersonating him. God used the situation (i.e. Saul's disobedience in seeking advice from a medium) to speak to him. I Sam 28:12 says that the medium cried out at the top of her voice when she saw Samuel. She was terrified, that is because she hadn't brought up Samuel, the v
