I've used these at large venues, like 300 feet long, and they do very good even there. I think the brightness is plenty bright.

Hi Zman. I guess I could look this up on my own, but I think you should win, so in an effort to get you more comments I'll ask my question straight to you.

How are the DMX channels on the starball configured? I am not a DJ, but rather a mobile live PA and stage lighting service for local bar bands and such. I'm thinking of getting a few star balls for their strobbing effect which is way better than a regular full beam strobe. I would be using DMX control rather than sound to light. Any info?

Great video.  Put two on order thanks to your last video on them. With any luck they'll make it here before the end of the month and the video I hope to make can be my entry heheh. Guess they may have a couple in stock up here in Canada but my local store has a bad habit of saying that and then putting my order on backorder without telling me.

Nice guitar as well; what are you running there? Head stock looks kind of like a fender.

Thanks, good eye on the guitar. Its funny every guitar I own is currently a fender. This one is a GA-43sce. I also have a 72 tele thinline reissue and a cheaper DG series acoustic. I want to get a taylor 6 series before next summer to do my live acoustic stuff with. I need more practice before that but now that I'm making time to play everyday I hope it will come around.

Simple idea but they are really effective.....its like the effect you would see in a big concert..show.....its great ADJ have allowed the mobile dj achieve effects we could never have acheived before....cool vid

I really don't have that many lights. It is a common misconception I've heard a few times. For my big show I use 12 - 13 light effects depending on if i use fog. If theres no fog then no laser. Yes I am a chauvet lover but I am also an ADJ lover. They both make great products though ADJ does have some really cool exclusive effects.

I ordered them right when they came out. THey have been sold out for about 3 months now. They are going to be coming in early July again from my understanding. I suggest order them now so you can have some out of this next batch being built. Any supplier should be abole to get you them once in stock.

There is a version with colors, its called the ADJ Sunray DMX.

I love the white though mixed with other colored lights like ADJ Par 64s, because the white beams are just way too impressive.
