@jrdickinson8 No it isn't. It's based on the old Muppet's. The Sesame Street Muppet's didn't have anything to do with The Muppet Show and they shouldn't. The Sesame Street Muppet's are more "babyish" anyways, and The Muppet Show was intended for people of all ages not just kids like Sesame Street.

my gf made me watch this movie with her and i reluctantly agreed provided she pay for it lol. however i ended up really enjoying it. the innocence of the characters brought to light what a cynical and coarse society we live in now where innocent endearing characters like the muppets cannot be appreciated. kids should be watching muppets not MTV!

i dont mind that disney has taken over the muppets, but what's upsetting is that this new muppet film has no classic subtitle to it (like all classic muppet movies did: treasure island, the great muppet caper, muppets christmas carol, etc, etc). I understand its a reboot, but i still think the storyline couldve incorporated such to make it more indepth. i also loathe any film with too many pop culture references (like mentioning facebook in a movie, etc). the fact NPH is in the film also sucks.
