I loved that game even though I stumbled upon it later than most people. My PC sucked at the time, so I could barely play it, but it reminded me so much of Tekken. Muy Thai was probably my favorite style on there just because of some combos and the damage my character could do. This game took me a few days to a week to get the hang of, but once I did, nothing stopped me from playing it.

wow. when I saw this game come out of nowhere on Ijji, I was like "0.o Whats this?" I kept playing it, got my friends to play it. We were all hooked. I have no idea why there is no other 1 on 1 fighting games anywhere. Im not even talking about games like Rumble Fighter or Lost Saga. I mean games like this.

I used two main characters while KwonHo was around: Dracomancer, a Muay Thai character; and Tyranny, a Ba Ji Quan character.

I did not use Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi, or Judo much.

KwonHo was taken from Ijji for legal reasons.

In an effort to leech more money from potential customers, Ijji severely dumbed down their version from the Korean version, hosted by Hangame, and would add payment options to the game later.

Ijji signed a contract saying they'd strictly market this game for North American players. However, it stole customers from Hangame's audience, and essentially took their business.

They are a terrible company, always have been and always will be.

If you do so, please read the "read this first!" post, there is an FAQ section at the bottom that will get you caught up.

Its all cause , The makers / Releasers of KwonHo we're asking more money, which ijji couldn't pay of the earnings of KwonHo, so we should blame ourselfes. No, you're right. It's a game that's had a few different versions in a few different countries.

It is known as KwonHo in Korea and North America / International, Jing Wu in China, and Hakenden in Japan.

There are differences, but the engine and main idea are the same between them.

Some diehards have moved to JingWu. The game is almost all in Chinese. But if you look up "OurKwonHo" on Google, you'll find a forum with registration.guides and people to answer your questions and coordinate games and stuff.

I haven't really played other ijji games but GunZ still probably takes more skills than something like Lunia (haven't played it so sorry if I'm wrong :P) its just neither take much skill so its just that GunZ takes more lol.

The major reason for why ijji give up is because of the connection issue.

The last and best solution they had is to set up separate servers for people from different place in this Earth. But after that, it's obviously only part of the world is playing the game, and it is totally unfair to single out people from certain places (discrimination.)

There's still an (upgraded) Chinese version called Jingwu Online. You can try your luck getting into that, but I can't help. It's still possible, though unlikely, that another company might gain the rights to translate and distribute it elsewhere.
