  • great wrestler - one of the all time

  • ACHHHHT>>>>>FACK THE BREEN BLAIR!

    -Shieky Baby!

  • They forget he also wrestled for the NWA in Georgia a short time!

  • One of the first wrestlers I ever saw live at the Charlotte Coliseum.

  • Kick ass! This guy gave a Orbio "empowered water" presentation at my work the other day. I didn't know of him, but a coworker mentioned that he's a celebrity and holy shit he was right. Jim is a super nice guy in person.

  • Man, i got to meet mr brunzell at his home were he was having a garage sale with his wife.Very nice people! What an awsome time.

  • Awesome. Well wishes to Jumping Jim Brunzell.

  • Jim was definitely a great wrestler. He is also a class act and that seems to be a rare quality in pro wrestlers.

  • Jim Brunzell was an excellent wrestler and never got the respect he deserved, mainly due to the fact with the limited tag team partner he got stuck with in the AWA in his early career. too bad, he was great

  • @postalmeter Gee lady, thanks for the free smartenin' lesson! I'd always done thunk I seen something off bout that there Iraqi Sheik feller.

  • Stand up guy!

  • @pianoman1112

Definitely a class act, he and Blair were just too clean for the dirty business Vince made it-- that's why the Bees never won the tag-team belt. That sucked, because they were THE best team of all time, better than all the freaks like Road Worriers and Fart Houndation etc.

  • @postalmeter jim was not blair most wrestler said jim was a learner blair was a dick

  • One of my all-time favorites and a true class act. Best dropkick ever.

  • @flatulatingmarmoset

    That's because he was a high-jumping champ before he became a pro-wrestler.

  • Definitely one the top 3 dropkicks ever!...

  • @mrjamesb562

They didn't call him "Jumping Jim" for nothing.

He's one of the guys who did pro-wrestling because he LIKED it, not some loser who just couldn't do anything else.

Blair was also an expert in scientific wrestling, they should have taken the belt but the idiot-fans wanted the clowns with the face-paint and pink tights etc.

  • Ha! Brunzell says he "treated people the way they wanted to be treated", while the video shows him dropkicking people in the face.

  • @Inediblehulk

Hey stupid, it's CHOREOGRAPHED, they KNEW he was going to do it, and they were ok with it-- it's part of the business.

FYI, he didn't drop-kick Andre out of the ring because the giant was such a fat oaf that he would have gotten hurt, so he just jumped into his arms and let Andre throw HIM out.

  • I would have never recognized him if I met him post-1990. Still probably wouldn't.

  • I proud to say that Jim Brunzell is my cousins son! I´v never met Jim jr, but his father 1974 when he , his wife, and my aunt Ariel visited Sweden

  • @Torbjorn911

So he's your cousin, once removed. COOL! ^5

  • Jumping Jim was an underrated wrestler. I was 10 years old when I saw him wrestle Bret Hart in a singles match in the summer of 1986. Jumpin' Jim went over Bret that night following the famous drop kick.

  • they don't build 'em like Jim Brunzell anymore

  • Brunzell was one of the sexiest hottest pro wrestlers there ever was.

  • Jim Brunzell=Class Act

  • Shawn Michaels vs Jim Brunzell, that was a very good match.

  • I vividly remember the match, shown on the video, where they beat the Hart Foundation. I remember thinking that the Bees were the next Tag Champs. According to some sources, they were in line until Vince decided to put the belts on the Can-Am Connection instead. B. Blair got mad and the Bees were pushed downt he card. Eventually, they disbanded. Ironically, Martel and Zenk weren't getting along and that story fell apart too when Zenk resigned from the WWF. (Still a dumb move on his part.)

  • I heard that one reason that the Killer Bees were'nt pushed was because Brunzell was an outspoken proponent for a wrestler's union.

  • no he was independent. but he did make occasional jobber appearences on wwf. you can watch an old battle royal on youtube from 92' with jim brunzell as one of the contestants that sid justice won.

  • Brunzell was a terrific athlete and a great wrestler. I have many great memories of The High Flyers (Brunzell and Greg Gagne) through the 70's and 80's. Unfortunately, he kinda got lost in the WWF.

  • I was so young, I can't even remember the wrestling organization; living in South Carolina in the 70's, the one person who stood out as my favorite was Brunzell. I wasn't an avid wrestling fan through the years; but when I caught some WWF and saw him there, I recognized him. Even if he wasn't a big star then, I always held him in high regard because of my early childhood memories of his matches.

  • That was JCP (Jim Crockett Promotions) / Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling.

  • He was even Mid-Atlantic Champ briefly.

  • How many of those 5 thousand matches did this guy win? seriously ive seen him lose at least 10 times at live events

  • JIM BRUNZELL- BEST DROPKICK EVER!!!

  • look at sherrie with thouse high heals i bet she was great at shoue play

  • He sounds exactly like one of my uncles.

  • QuentinDude you are piece of shit jabroni punk no good motherfucker but everybody know jimbrun zeller is great athlete, great high jummperr, but you break my heartttttt....

  • That voiceover is like a parody of the typical deep VO guy.

  • Dude, you have no idea what you're talking about. Not only was Brunzell a great athlete and wrestler, he's a real nice and decent guy and always treats the fans great. I guarantee he made a hell of a lot more money than you ever did!

  • He was not a jobber his whole career moron. Brunzell was a 2 time AWA World tag team champion w/ Greg Gagne as 1/2 of one of the preimer tag teams off the '70s & was a Mid- Atlantic champ in the NWA. Just shows that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Hell, you are probably only using the term "jobber" because you read it somewhere and you are trying to sound hip & knowledgable.

  • Exactly. Brunzell was in the same mold of Lanny Poffo. Both incredibly talented. At that point of his career, he was putting people over, but getting paid. Poffo was the same way. Losing didn't matter as long as the check cleared. Brunzell is overlooked when it comes to talent. There is a match on youtube where he wrestles Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. That match is a 10.

  • @Lfdjake91

A jobber his whole career? Only a MORON never heard of the Killer Bees, they were THE best scientific wrestling team of all time, no question. Brunzell even wrestled ANDRE in the Battle Royal.

  • As classy as Brian Blair is a deuschebag.

  • Great wrestler. Extremely under-rated.

  • Jim Brunzell, always a class act.
