@oMkRnRTz i also have the 600d. i love it to death. however the 60d has a few more features like faster continous shooting and stuff. the camera itself looks more significant than the 600d. image quality is pretty much the same though. but mostly its just that you might wish you had bumped up to a 60d because they are only a few hundred dollars more. i didnt have that much money so i went with the 600d. neither is a bad choice though. :)

Hey guys, Gordon Lane over at CameraLabs does a great and thorough job of reviewing sub $1000 lenses. Check out his website or find him on YouTube. As a professional photographer I'm thrilled that DigitalRev reviews the equipment I actually use or intend to. It's not that I'm rich, but I prefer to save up until I can buy the best equipment rather than settling. Of course skills and play a huge part, but the better your equipment, the better your chances of walking away with the desired image.

@MobiusCoin True, it has a real bulky pentaprism viewfinder instead the compact pentamirror ones you find in the smaller canon DSLRs. This provides for a brighter and larger viewfinder experience, yummy. If you want a 5D mk II you don't want a in body flash anyway :)

@Ernests11245 personally I have a 550D, upgraded from a 400D last week and to be honest this is amazing for what it is.

but if it was just video i would personally get the 60D just for the higher max shutter speed and the tilt screen (would help with videos) but you cant go wrong with a 550d either.

any who i'll only give pointers on what i think but like with my 550D i picked the one that feels right by me.

For those that do not want to fork out, or cannot for out the 1000 plus for this lens, I'd say the 15mm Canon Fisheye lens is a great alternative to Fisheye fun, for about US$700. The other cool thing is that the 15 mm is f2.8. Make sure however that your camera is a full frame, or else your Fisheye shot will be like a really wide angle and not so dramatic as here.
