That crystal radio works so good how did you get it to play so loud is it just the microphone picking it up well also you got it to pick up many channels very well you must have a very good tuner setup
@moterdude1959 It's just a very senstive mic on the camera. You need to be able to adjust coil tapping carefully - a lot of basic crystal set circuits don't allow that.

batterymaker - that last station is the closest to here - only about 20-30km distant across flat, low land.
The antenna was coupled with a primary coil of about 5 turns across the tuning coil. The diode was tapped down the tuning coil.

Is that trick with the extra turn just like the circuit in the Mystery Crystal Set?
