Why the fuck did Ron Wilson put Toskala in against Buffalo last night but still its only pre season but if he doesn't put Gustavsson a starting goalie! I will lose my mind. Because Toskala got 7 goals scored against him last night.

I really love the Monster...But I still think that he shouldn't start on thursday...Not because Toskala is a better goalie,but because it's gonna be too much pressure for him...And we don't want him to break down...Do we?...Give him some time to understand what's going on here...Especially between Toronto and Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa..

Toskala will obviosuly start as he has the big contract and he is supposed to be "the" goalie.. so dont get ur panties in a bunch... but as thy have said it goes by who plays better.. which can go either way..

hopefully toskala pus out a good season and proves to th world he can d it.. if not i dont see him sticking around very long..

Toskala i think will pull his act together this season, his 1st year with the leafs he wasnt supposed to be a starter, raycroft was so Toskala HAD TO WORK for his starting job, last year he was slacking cuz tehre was no competition, and also his injury of course...

Very well said... I love toskala as a goalie... i think hes amazing, butt if he dosnt pull his act togather he wont b around...

but like i said EVERYBODY thinks he will do better this eyar, as u mentioned his injury last year, this may help him out... (injury free)

but some of the 7 goals yesterday vs buffalo should have been stopped... and they cant have those go in, (cross crease, wrap arounds ect) yes every goalie lets them in.. but toskala need to make more of those saves...

Vesa is far too inconsistent to be the #1 goalie but could definately fill the role of backup (a strong backup)... If Gustavsson can stay consistent then leafs will be set for goalies
