I'm going to correct everyone Hispanic/Latino are people from countries in Latin America, Central America, Carribbean and Mexico. Spanish is just people from Spain.

Portuguese people are sometimes consider Latin.

Either way who cares were all humans at the end of the day and we all have more than one racial background.

Selena is half-mexican by birth, but is also half-italian.

Loads of people in El Salvador are Spaniard descendants, For example I'm Sal vadoran Honduran Spanish and Italian which makes me white, because my grand parents from both my parents are Spaniards but my great grandpa from my dad side was half italian and Spaniard. My mother is Honduran and My dad Salvadoran so it doesnt matter if ur mexican or latin american you could still be fully european (white). Hispanic/Latino isnt a race its a culture.

@brian5467 I know that, im a white latin american as well, i just meant calling yourself Spanish when youre from El Salvador is incorrect because Spanish people are from Spain, if youre a white latin american person from el salvador thats ok but youre not Spanish, being Spanish is a nationality, you can only call yourself spanish if you have spanish citizenship or are a spanish national. or you could say i am of spanish descent or my mom/dads family is spanish.
