This is the oddest version of Hare hare Yukai I have seen. I don't care for the visuals like the green screen, it's just that, the dance doesn't seem to make as much sense as the animated (or live) one to me.

in this game the skirts are wider and shorter (witch is usually good) but it just looks weird

The reason for that is because the game designers didn't want to deal with motion capturing the skirts, and they prolly didn't want to hire an animator to animate them so they didn't penetrate through the legs, so they just widened them, and since that happened it raised them up, so they look shorter. I want to get a hold of these models so I can animate them with all the fun clothing overlap and stuff...
