plugging the guitar in the ipad with rocksmith cable

I just figured how to on my imac. If anyone can't figure it out, this is what you do. Open Garageband, click new project, electric guitar (or acoustic for acoustic electrics) plug in the cable and guitar then go to preferences audio/midi and switch input to rocksmith cable. After that, exit and click the little speaker sign over to the left on tracks. Done.

Not bad at all. The iPad could then be plugged into an amp. No more need for pedals. :)

Any idea if this would work with an iPhone 3 and/or 4?
