@WorldTurnBlack Not true, there are VHF low band digital TV stations in a number of states in the US plus UHF and VHF high band digital TV is effected by tropospheric ducting much like analog. The only thing is its more challenging to receive but when you get a signal it looks like its coming from your own backyard. This is due to the all or nothing nature of digital either you get a perfect picture or nothing. Sometimes blocky images but what I said is usually the case.
Question...would it be possible to construct a device to better control the tropospheric density to allow longer reception of longer distance signals or maybe allow people to watch some channels out of their state?
this is gigaawesome thank you for posting this cool grabs too i love dxing one night in 92 we had aurora's purple pulse type and got some very wierd frequencies on channel 4 that night very staticy sounding but very enjoyable.10 stars.
