a python is not slow its slower than some other snake species but in no way are they fucking slow put your hand in my pythons cage let him strike at you and see if you you can pull your hand out fast enough!

and that is not the only way a constrictor kills its prey sometimes the prey will die from lost circulation if the snake chooses a really big prey item or cant get a proper wrap

for a start a python is a slow snake - its not a cobra or something as fast as that

I can't believe some people can't see that it's fake. The snake head and the snake body aren't even the same colour, the clearity of the snake head's image is very different from the rest of the video (rather faded). The snake head is from Anaconda movie or something. Anaconda and Python are both constrictors, so they do not strick out in the first place. They can't move that fast.

Looks like a Reticulated Python... they can be nasty, I wouldn't keep one around my new born, not a wild one anyway. Looks like they have kept it properly tho, the kid must be about a year old there.
