It sure could not have been her mother because her mother was so involved in helping her with her recovery. As far as the situation with her father, I did not know about that. Her and her mother had hard times, but they still stuck together through her troubles with drugs.

If anybody would have said that she would turn out like this back then, nobody would have believed it.
@MadonnaAgain I know. I think money, wealth, and fame catches up with people and it slowly takes them away. It changes them either for the better or the worse, unfortunately for Whitney it was dor the worse. In the late 1980's she had a more humble demeanor. Later on she did became a little bit more arrogant, the DIVA side would mostly come out of her. Through all of that I think Whitney is very nice person, she just got caught up in the dark side of fame like many other celebrities too.

I didn’t hear her say that she was on her way. Why is Whitney so upset at the questions when Barbara asked more personal questions on 20/20? That's the price you pay for being a big star.
