  • Who's the first song by? and the name of the song I reALLY LIKE IT

  • Great video.. but the constant changing of music ... ya didnt like that part otherwise good job :)

  • The "REGRESSIVES" don't get it...we didn't want it then, we don't want it now.

  • Would have been a better video without the multiple music tracks. Should have stuck with one track.

  • @nevadawolf619

Totally Agree! Too many bad transitions between songs

  • The Meat Inspection Act of 1906 was ironically a massive subsidy for the meat industry -- had nothing to do with protecting consumers--

  • Progressing towards corporatism!

    Progressing towards giant monopolies!

    Progressing towards war!

    Progressing towards giant Government!

the progressive era had nothing to do with social justice, but feeding the special interests and massive governement.

best thing from progressive era was women's suffrage

  • @darklordsma That's neo-conservatism, idiot.

  • @darklordsma and anti-child labor laws.

  • ohh thats right you forgot the creation of the federal reserve and the progressive income tax, great job progressives

  • and the progressives got kicked out of power and we then had the roaring 20's. I can't believe you showed that bitch's face that was for eugenics to get rid of the undesirables, learn your history

  • if you are referring to the picture of the lady after the words muckrakers that is Ida M. Tarbell, the information i learned about her was this:

was an American teacher, author and journalist. She was known as one of the leading "muckrakers" of her day, work known in modern times in the progressive era as "investigative journalism." She is best-known for her 1904 book The History of the Standard Oil Company

but if thats not the picture, i am curious to know which one it is

  • @urcool48 thought it was someone else. one of hill clintons heros

  • @urcool48 A question....

    Why did progressives bring progress?

    @urcool48

  • Responder a este vídeo... Cause i cant understand it

  • there are good thigns and bad things that happened during this era, however we have those in office that declare they are progressives is this good for us when the government controls what they allow us to see a doctor for? look at the big picture here, health can be links to all facets of life. guns kill people..ban it,eating fast food can clogs your arteries...gone is the mcdonalds we all so love(or burger king...watev is your fav) oh your fat? oh well die quickly please..got AIDS? DIE QUICKLY

  • the progressive era was a massive failure, and im surprised the ideas still majorly exist in politics

  • I don't agree with that at all. The Progressive Era got the Interstate Commerce Act (1887) and the Sherman Antitrust Act (1890) passed, fought for child labor laws, women's suffrage, and the need to protect society by placing safeguards on products sold.

And I also don't agree that there any ideas from the Progressive Era that still exist in politics today. When you talk about Progressives in a modern sense they have nothing to do with the Progressive Era of the late 19th and early 20th century

  • They wanted to "Progress" from our constitution to some form they thought would be better. They were wrong! They still are! Social justice is bs!

  • Do you even have any idea the importance of the Interstate Commerce Act of the Sherman Antitrust Act? That placed safeguards on the workers and individual purchasing products from being overrun by large monopolies.

Also you may say social justice is BS, but is women's suffrage, ending child labor, and protecting products from being intentionally posioned BS?

Perhaps you may think social justice in the modern 2010 day is BS, which is fine and your opinion, but you cannot say it was BS then.

  • The progressives were and are evil. Willing to let the ends justifiy the means. You used human rights to argue they were kind and well intentioned. They were and are also willing to for go any freedom for their own power! Obama clearly believes in total redistribution of wealth. He is the living legacy of their sadly misguided ideology. So yes social justice is total bs!
