  • i live in miami too! where do you get it done??

  • Creatin brasilena something like that really helped my hair :)

  • What brand is the treatment they use on yours? I just bought INOAR and it works so good! The only thing, and I have read that other people get this side effect too, is that the keratin starts to flake off my scalp...it just started doing this :( and it looks alot like dandruff but apparently it's just the product...anyone else have that happen?!?!?!

  • what type of keratin treatment did you get done?

  • the only thing is .. cancer

  • Is there any way you can ask tour stylist the brand name of which treatment he uses? I'm a stylist and have used several brands just curious. Thanks!

  • best treatment ever! i did it too about 3 months ago i made a video on my experience doing it too i still cant believe how my hair was before

  • Do you know what happens to your curls after the keratin wears off? My friend told me that your curls aren't the same but she's not sure just how badly it affects the hair...

  • Aerovex Systems’ Chemical Source Capture System is a specialized ventilation system designed to absorb and remove Keratin Treatment formaldehyde vapors from the air. In addition to creating a very well ventilated area for stylists & salon patrons, the Chemical Source Capture System lowers the potential for excessive inhalation exposure.

The Chemical Source Capture System improves the safety of many types of salon services, including: Brazilian Keratin Treaments, coloring & perming.

  • i have really reallly curly hair.. im thinking of this treatment, because i really dislike curly hair on myself, how long does it stay? and did it losen the curls that are newly growing in? thank you

  • @MrPotatoesforlife it can stay 3-6 months depending, im on my 3rd month the natural wave in my roots are coming back but theres still a difference, i did a video too showing my hair before and after plus an update check it out if ud like

  • I got one.. Mine didn't really work out I don't think they did it right..

  • Thank you! But just one question how much did your cost? I just want a ballpark price please(:

  • I did enjoyed your video, you answered several questions I had. I do have a question regarding and you may or may not know the answer to this. However, I was wondering if you've ever tried to curl your hair occasionally with a curling iron after you've done the brazilian keratin treatment does it damage your hair? Or do you feel that the hair can withstand the curling iron occasionally.

  • Hi, I have been researching the Brazilian Keratin Treatment and your video is by far the most helpful. Thank you. I am a little bit hesititant but I cannot stand my curly hair frizz anymore. I have always wanted to have smooth shiny looking hair. Wish me luck! :)

  • @Miriana1216 I'm glad you found this helpful! Good luck!

  • if u have the treatment in and i brush or comb will it get frizzy some parts

  • What is the name of the brand of the keratin treatment?

  • Hi ,I live in miami and your results are awesome can you please tell me where you get yours done? im extremely careful with my hair and would feel better if i knew a place that has good results some of the places i called on the beach and gables didnt sound too confident in answering any question. thanks i would deeply appreciate it .

  • Can you just walk out of the shower with your hair wet. And let it air dry, will it stay straight?

  • @xoxbabylatinaxox It's not going to be stick straight when you walk out of the shower (at least mine isn't) but I have really curly hair so I would imagine it depends on your original hair texture. What I get are large waves and the whole no frizz factor is really what seals the deal for me! :)

  • hey i'm going down to miami in two weeks

where do you go to get the bkt done?

  • I wanna grow out my hair but I always get split ends at a certain length.Would this help "undamage" my hair or help it grow longer???

  • According to most recent news :

"California's attorney general's office has filed a lawsuit against the popular Brazilan Blowout hair straightening solution claiming it contains high levels of formaldehyde -- a hazardous gas and known carcinogen banned by California's Safe Cosmetics Act."

  • @ExoticCalli Brazilian Blowout and Brazilian Keratin Treatment are different products. I think they are all poisonous.

  • The "Brazilian Blowout" straightening treatment has been banned in Canada where I live due to an unacceptable amount of formaldehyde.

I don't need or want my hair straightened but if I did based on the fact that it has been banned in other countries, I would steer clear of this treatment.

  • I am sure that your "extremely curly hair" looks great on you with your pretty features. From the picture that you showed it looks lovely. It is often the case that we want something that we don't have naturally. As you get older you probably will realize the beauty of your curly hair.

One great thing about curly hair especially like yours is that it looks full and bouncy which is much more difficult to accomplish with long straight hair which I have.

  • Very nice hAIR

  • I love your video!! I used same shampoo and conditioner great price!

My hair its curly as yours and now looks natural straight and so shiny I just love it. You just say it all on your video.

    Regards :)

  • @polet23us I'm glad you love it as much as I do!! :)

  • did this treatmean damage your hair?

  • @xoxoitsme92 not at all, if anything it made my hair healthier and shinier! :)

  • wow... hehe, showin my parents this!!! I'm 12 and have WAY poofier hair, urs Is more curls mine is more poof... how much did it cost u?

  • @frizzheadgal hi! It depends on where you get it done. It's not cheap though, so be sure it's really what you want before you invest. :)

  • @andiemiami17 thanks... we r willing to pay alot, 400 is kinda tops tho... have u heard of a Japanese thing like this?

  • how much did urs cost cus im gettin mine done(:

  • @GottaBeCrazii hey! That's awesome! They charge per ounce so it depends on how much hair you have and how much product they need to use. It's definitely not cheap, but in my opinion it's WAY worth it :)

  • hey, so i just found your video in my search for some info on the bkt. i have to say i am convinced after seeing your video! your hair looks awesome! i too am from Miami and have super curly hair with some hair coloring damage. i was wondering if after a few months my curls will return, because i don't want to be permanently straight, just until my hair gets longer. if so can you refer me to the person who does yours? thanks so much <3 p.s im subscribing

  • @GinaL514 Hi! Thanks for subscribing! Umm, I honestly am not sure about the curls coming back because I continue to get the treatment re-done after about 6 months so they always re-apply it to the length of your hair. I will tell you that of course my re-growth comes in super curly as usual ;)

  • Hi! I am thinking about this treatment..so what happened with your hair after couple months? thanks:)

  • @marishca1 My hair is still pretty much the same, the only different is that my roots have grown out so I need to blow them dry :) I've been getting this treatment for years and I love the condition of my hair! I highly recommend it!

  • Loreal tests on animals ><

  • i feel the same way about my hair lol im going to do that soon :]

  • What is the name of your product?

  • @optimami Hey! I'm actually not sure what the exact name of the brand is but I just ask for the Keratin treatment :o)

  • or can anyone tell me where i can get the BB done

  • @aletaylor0403 They have it at tonz of salons all over now so I would just call up a couple in your area and see if they offer it :o)

  • didn't realize I sent the message so many times...heeheh sorry,

  • can you tell me where you had your hair done

  • Can you tell where you had it done

  • hello,

could you tell me where you had your BB done.

    thanks

  • I'm thinking about doin it (the more natural version that lasts for 4 months) but I wonder what happens then?

So your response to all this? :)

  • @zizele I've never had any problems in terms of the shampoo having any kind of effect on my hair. This whole treatment actually has made my hair stronger and shinier because it works with the natural structure of your hair made up of something called keratin (hence the name of the treatment.) I understand your worry and I have done a lot of other straightening treatments that have wreaked havoc on my hair but I have not had anything negative with this one.

  • @zizele I cant comment to the "After-after" effects because this is a treatment that I continue to do, but like anything else, once it grows out, it's your natural hair that grows back in so you are bound to have whatever texture you started out with. In terms of what's left in my hair after I start to experience re-growth, I notice that my hair stays straighter than it normally would, but the condition of my hair stays just as good as it does when I have just had the treatment done.

  • @zizele and that is referring to the length of my hair that still has the treatment in it after my roots have started growing out, not to my new hair growth. Hope that helped!

  • ok, sweety, thanks for the information, however, I still have some questions...

everyone speaks about the before-after, but what happens after - really after??? do you go back to your natural texture or you have the bigger mess than that mess before?

and the shampoo they use before putting keratine in hair- it weakens the hair anyway (so that keratine would fit-in better), meaning that it's 1 step forward 2 steps back!

  • Hello, I live in Miami as well and want to know where you got this done?

  • Brazilian Blowout is supposedly formaldehyde free. I've done the BB four times and LOVE It. The Coppola treatment you have to leave in for 72 hours, which is SO annoying! The Coppola lasted about five weeks in my hair at best! Yea, such a rip off! The Brazilian Blowout (BB) lasts for 4-5 MONTHS. And BB is the one you can wash out the same day, but my stylist has me was it out the next day. Also with the BB you are supposed to do a once a week at home treatment called CONT...

  • Deep Conditioning Masque. Very important to do this as it maintains the BB in your hair. The more you do the BB, the more I think you'll love it. I loved it the most starting at the third time I did it. It keeps building up on your hair and I just love it. SO SHINY, I have highlights and I go longer now between highlights because my hair is so shiny you can wait longer :) Sorry so long! : )

  • @Purrrsuasive1 thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that out!

  • @andiemiami17 Please get the product! You need it to maintain the treatment!

  • @Purrrsuasive1 I'll look into it. Honestly I've had this done at least 4 times already and haven't used that and it has always lasted me at least 6-7 months. Thanks for the recommendation!

  • @andiemiami17 Hmmm I wonder if your stylist is using the strongest Brazilian Blowout on you? I heard, and I might be wrong, ask around...that the stronger the Brazilian Blowout, the more chemicals or other, "hyde's" are in it. BB company claims not to have formaldehyde in their product, but some chemical is straightening those that get it done with super curly frizzy hair and end up with gorgeous straight shiny hair. I love BB... but just saying :)

  • hi :) i live in canada how can i find this brazilian keratin, what's the product's brand name thanks:)

  • @celinedalida Hi! I'm actually not sure of a brand name, I know there are a lot of different brands out there now since the treatment has gotten more popular and they all work, (as far as I know) it really is more a matter of the application. If I were you I would do a google search and find some salons in your area that offer the treatment and ask to see some of their results or ask to speak to one of their clients. Good luck! Let me know how it works out for you!

  • @celinedalida Celine, Brazilian Blowout is the brand name. STAY away from the brand name Coppola, as it doesn't last. There is also a brand name called Global which also last about a month. They are all keratin treatments. Brazilian Blowout last the longest, so you get more for your money.

  • Hey I saw your video. I got the treatment done 2 days ago. I love my hair so far. I was wondering can you use any type of styling product after you get it done? If you can but pretty much anything in it, then for the oily scalp I recommend getting a cholesterol treatment on it and it should reduce the dandruff too. you can do it at home yourself. I will do it to myself still if it won't ruin the kertain in my hair in a few weeks or so. well let me know. thanks

  • @roxanna0980 Hey! Yea the dandruff usually only lasts a week or so, at least on me. I am pretty sure you can use whatever styling product you want. I would check labels to try and use products with no sulfates because that is what I hear breaks down the keratin, but I haven't had any problems with any kind of styling product yet (though I have to admit I don't use many) Hope that helps! let me know if you have any other questions!
