your best bet is to take blue mushrooms aswell as herbs.. with the 5 combo books you can make potions while ur there... and with the free space you have in ur inventory it seems like there no trouble...

thats just my opinion but i think it might help others that get hit a little more that you did..

@TheSlayerSystem You have a point. But the only time potions are consumed by me are if i get hit while a G-Rank monster's in rage. Other than that the reson I watch videos is to figure out when to srtike and to study the monster's movements. Which can give me an advantage and lead to the least amount of potions consumed and it'll also save a lot of money if you're a spender like me.

for lavasioth there is a glich

if u stand on in the little tunnel that joins areas 10 and 9 it carnt hit u cos there is a barrier stopoing it goin any ferther also there is one in the tunnel between areas 9 and the one above it i carnt remember the number. it only really works if ur using a lance or gunlance cos u need to guard against the fireball attack it dose.

i can do it with out the glich just as easy but its just a trick that some one can use if they are strugling with lavasioth cos they do have a few quite strong attacks i use a hammer when i do it its well quick

rather than stacking up on items that dramatically help you, and that some people dont want to gather. We use only needed / nooby stuff to show that you can kill it no matter what

yeah but most people have steaks, but not a lot of people have a large supply of juices. also, most people bring steaks when tehy really try to kill the monster

About cathing: how does it work? Is there something special you must do to catch a monster... Or is it just that the monster must be trapped when you kill it? Also is it enough to just trap it and then put it to sleep...?

when a monster is weakened and can lure it into a pitfall and or shock trap and throw "tranq bombs" at it these are a mix of tranqualizer and bomb materials....

lol that didnt make very much sense. sorry. Once you know that the monster you are fighting is weak set a pitfall trap or shock trap. (it doesnt matter) Make sure you bring tranq bombs. Throw the tranqs at the monster when its in the trap. if 2 tranqs dont work then its not weakened enough just yet =)

yeah, i have all monsters hunted atleast 20 times :D. no point in farming akantor anymore tho, all his weapons and armor were nerfed from mhf2 to mhfu, only one's worth killing are white fata and ukanlos anymore

Well he was a pain for me I sure remember! If you get a decent gun lance a stay at his head you may be able to do it solo! (dont forget to use cannonballs, ballistas, and the dragonater!)

Pick up a cannon ( right by the ballistas) and get it into area 5 go up to one of the acutal cannons then press O when you can see him
