  • Step 1: Get DOS. It never freezes.

  • Yeah, but sometimes even the fucking task manager doesn't fucking respond. I know how to solve that. Throw the computer off the roof and drive a truck over it. Problem solved. LOL

  • Did you know : This is to show you that Windows IE sucks, use iMac and get a life with Safari.

  • next time on howcast:

    how to eat

    how to drink

    how to think

    how to walk

  • Thanks, I never knew how to do this. It would be nice if you posted a video on how to put my pants on.

  • wut if ur mouse freezes too and the ctrl alt dlt thing wont work ._.

  • or destroy all pcs lets have a revolution!!!! (-.

  • your problem is your running windows. get a mac :D

  • what if the application watcher stops responding??

  • @finamagig then you get a mac !!!

    :D

  • 1. turn it off

    2. turn it on

    done.

    tip vista sucks ass

  • *Right click the unresponsive program on the Task Manager and select "Go to Process", it'll take you right to the Processes tab where you can end a process quickly- without scrolling though that long list! (and waiting on those damn "end now" errors you get from ending a task on the Applications tab).

  • Get a mac. Simple. They just don`t freeze up. I have not had to force shut down my machine in years. They just work.

  • @macgeodave haha well why would u waste 3 thousand dollars on a mac? Where u can spend maybe 100 dollars or something getting it fixed?

  • My PC never freezes :P

  • lol...

  • this isn't a help guide on fixing a frozen computer, this is a guide of shutting down non responsive programs...

  • Step 1: Right click on the bottom browser

    Step 2: Click task manager

Step 3: Click on "Youtube - How to handle a PC Freeze

    Step 4: End Task....

  • Step 1: Throw PC in the bin

    Step 2: Buy a mac

    Optional: Install windows on mac

  • @amadeusz55

    you can do that?

  • I think the reason their pc is freezing is because they're using IE

  • 1. turn it off.

    2. turn it on.

    done.

  • @whittierbubbles yah but then if it keeps on hapining ur pc going to brake

  • @whittierbubbles Yes but my pc sometimes fails to boot after it`s been frozen...

And then I have to restart it again

  • @whittierbubbles Simplicity isn't always better then Security. Shutting down the system while a program is frozen can cause issues, It's called an "Improper Shutdown" for a reason. It's best to try and unfreeze the program or process before shutting down the system. Data may also not save correctly.

  • Did any 1 realise, they was running internet explorer, on services they ended internet explorer but under process, they ended firefox. Howcast you lied to us

  • @SaiE8

    it was just an example.

it wasnt open so they couldnt close it

  • @SaiE8 you dont make sense!

  • @encisoification

The program, that was non responisive was Internet explorer, they selected end task under the application tab, but in the processes tab they ended firefox, but it was internet explorer was unresponsive, they ended the wrong process

  • @SaiE8 They didn't lie at all. After ending Internet Explorer, the narrator says "to quit any processes that are frozen or taking up too much memory". Firefox was just another example of a program to close.

  • @SaiE8 i did but no one else did cuz no one uses IE

  • On windows 7 and vista i think, it ctrl + shift + esc for task manager, ctrl + alt+ del only bring up the logoff , shutdown, lock pc and so on.

  • You will need:

    A Mac

  • @stefan98TH first you need a job for money then a mac
