Before seeing this video, I had ideas about doing the same, but in reverse - instead of black, using aluminum foil to get an imbalance of hot light thrown forward for interesting catch lights.
The great thing about this stuff is that it's less than $1USD per sheet. Cheap experiments!
Just made mine out of some old black & white kodak photo paper i had laying around. For the paint, i used black chalkboard spray paint i got from home depot. I used that kind as apposed to any other spray paint because it works well with finger-prints.
Anyways... Works great! Thanks for sharing this with everyone
Any one tryin' to make one on their own, Krylon's Fusion for Plastic spray paint (black, of course) for the black strip works great~!! It doesn't melt the foam, bleed at the edges, dries in about 10-15 mins, and has a professional lookin' finish~!! Hope this helps.
Simply amazing are the results I'm getting from *both* cards. Thank you so much for sharing this information so freely....it says a LOT about your character. All the best.
cool idea, looooooong video.

I built my own Peter Gregg Feather-Light today and attached it to my good old Carena TZ 250, and it works!
Sadly, I can't turn it's head horizontally cause it's a pretty old model, but I think it's still quite useful!
Thanks Peter!

The abbc is really ingenious, but you could explain the whole thing in two minutes.
