yo man sick shit. i'd like to hear more. check me out on youtube, you can download my shit for free through the first video on there. but good stuff man.
Hey rougetek! I haven't seen someone use the Nanokontrol with so much dedication and expertise, i woulda bailed after abit to use something larger ahah.
You know the 2 programmable buttons on each channel do you reckon you could program them to trigger the next available clip on a certain channel? or is that too complex? THANKS!
i have a similar controller, and i can only push one button at one time (to mute). i wonder, can you press two buttons simultaneously on the nanokontrol?
I am going to dowlonad Ableton because i really want to get into making stuff like this. I am plannin on getting a korg nanokontrol. I dont realy know where to start off though! Do yo just assign different loops to the different sets (1 through 9, 1knob 1slider 2buttons per set) and just fade im in and out and apply effects and stuff? I dont realy know where to start / HOW to do this stuff : /
@oiTzGENESlSo I would buy Reason 4 instead of Ableton Live, I own both and Reason 4 is more inspiring and the sequencer is a breeze :D and if you don't know how things work, you'll learn by just playing it with it and watching video's like these
I was having problems with setting up my nanokontrol for the first time but went onto this link for NanoLiveII and got it to work perfectly with my Live 8. You should check it out mrnextmusic. All you have to do is buy a program they sell you for $20 bucks but it's so worth it! I recommended to everyone
sick set dude. good to know you can actually tweak that stuff on the nano kontrol and it isn't just a toy... mix was tight as hell btw, def keep doin what you're doin.
Hey hail from greece!! gyes, keep working in Music!! in my opinion, Music is the most beautifull being that realy exists!!! - i work too with the nano series (nano kontrol-pad-key) on FL 9 XXL- It is true a madness!! continue discovering new tracks!! - :D :E :[ :P
hey i just got one and can't get LIVE 8 to read it? any tips!? there are some script downloads out there but LIVE doesn't seem to give an option for the nanoKontrol in preferences....can you help? i'm dying of jealousy over here ;)
thanx, but LIVE doesn't have the nanoKontrol as an option. That's why I need to figure out a different way. They aren't supporting the nanokontrol for some reason (probably the deal with akai)
Hi everyone, i'm trying to use nanokontrol with traktor pro everything it work fine but when i go to the editor apears "nano kontrol failed to open midi port" can anyone help me ? because I want to edit the buttons and make them toggled (lights on and off the same with on and off fuction in traktor pro) thanks
Anyone know if when you press the buttons for triggering a loop (like this guy does) it is synced with the song, i.e it will play at the next 1/8 or 1/4 note?
Is it somehow possible with the nanoKontrol (if u have it) to let the button lit up until pressed again?... and.. the other button on each press to run through the channel sets?
Yes. You have to do it from within the Korg Kontrol Editor software. Change whatever button you want's BUTTON BEHAVIOR to TOGGLE and and Set the On/Off Values to 126/1, respectively.
dude you might wanna lookin to the Mix Meister controller it's assignable to all software, or even better if your using Ableton look at the APC 400, also a multi-software controller.
i am assuming you are using ableton live but could i get absolute confermation? if yes do you use this product with other software? (if so what ones) si no intiendes ingles (losiento para mi espanol) diga lo y yo puedo *translatar*????.
Yes! FInally I found someone who is competent in using a lot of the aspects of a nanokontrol. I am buying one tomorrow. You sell the shit out of this product.
I am new to Ableton Live... im not retarded but why can i not find out how to map my korg nano to do anything in it? when i put it on midi map mode it doesnt do much, can anyone get me started in the right direction?
I saw on a tutorial video that you need to download some midi drivers from korg (which are free) - at least for the nanokontrol not sure about the others - mine are on the way so will help you out more when I know
Yes. It is perfect for Ableton Live. Just bare in mind, Live STILL doesn't have a proper soft take-over mode- so you would not be able to use the secondary banks of knobs and sliders.
Good Sound Man. I'm French and I have the Same Nano Kontrol. I Like your mix. You're Software is Ableton Live ? Have You The nano Key and Nano Pad ?? You're Mixing or you're composing with your soft ? Friendly.
Done nicely...

If traktor scratch pro has then feature to asigne midi-controls to parameters/you know the controller numbers of the device, you can use it.
