Why doesn't the government of Darfur take care of its own people. That is the outrage. We will take care of them then they will turn on us when the time comes. We can not resolve the issues of poverty in every country. We can't even stop it here in our own country. Again, the government in Darfur are the culprits. They are killing their own people.

I rememeber Mia Farrow as the actor who played PETER PAN (Yes, she played the role of a boy. Way way long before Hilary Swank played a man in 'Boys dont Cry' in 1999) when I was a child.

Anyway, i do not know what or where Darfur is and so i have to check the Net what it is. Only for that, I think her fast just accomplished something!

That's a brave and selfless act but I will reserve my comment later when I see what Darfur is.

Using a movie reference, I remember last scene of Marlon Brando 1962 (?) film "The Ugly American", in which he was playing a U.S. Ambassador and was trying to explain to the public in a press conference the situation in Southeast Asia to the American public. As he continues speaking the film cuts to a TV set in a living room and an overweight man gets up from his chair, walks over to the TV and turns it off. The End. I sadly suspect that any gains made here will be small, but bst of lck.
