This was all software rendering, if I recall correctly. No support for 3D accelerator cards.

Outcast is one of my best memories. I can still hear the sound of the snow from underneath Cutter Slade’s shoes. Never has music suited a game better than the music from the Moscow Symphony Orchestra and Choir. The story was marvelous. This game is the reason why computer games were invented.

Well it reviews the graphics, the sound effects, the music, the gameworld, the NPC's the main character, the water effects, the combat, the enemy AI, the weapons, the ability to ride a Twon-Ha and fire your weapon while mounted, the enemy creatures, both underwater and in the sky, the shadow effects, so I think it reviews quite a lot! :)

Where's the review? You can't "review" a game without saying or writing anything - a video review doesn't mean just showing the game...that would be a demonstration or play-through. A "video review" is footage of the game with commentary over the top. I'm just letting you know because your title is misleading.

Just as an FYI: Cinemascope usually refers to an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 or 2.39:1, not 16:9

@MouseFX Right, If you look carefully, it uses the ground elevation for the structures, thats why theres almost no perfectly vertical walls and mostly montains, and it uses polygons for everything else.

This game was really cool, also really hard. It was so open so I just got lost after a while, dont think i finished it but the graphics were totally crazy for that time
