I've never understood why the majority of people seem to believe that negative or undesirable genes shouldn't be ameliorated or erased entirely. It may seem impassive to those afflicted, but mental and physical disorders as a result of faulty genes are negative and should be removed from the human population.
This, in my view, can be effectively achieved in two main ways: 1 Eliminate the negative genes themselves directly or 2. Eliminate the carriers of negative genes directly or indirectly.

I support eugenics. I will admit that I am an "inferior" human being, possessing nearly every gene that would seem socially unwanted in today's society. Eugenics is the ONLY answer to long term life sustainability. If not, what's another long term solution to overpopulation? Aren't eugenics kind of pointless? Humans are hard-wired to select the most attractive members of our own species. Males like girls with big boobs and look youthful. Females like men with strong muscles and look youthful. Of course, it doesn't always end up that way, I'll admit, but just because the person you choose isn't physically attractive, they could be attractive in some other way. Smarts, for example. Lead is just 1 of 100s of reasons. I've never understood why the majority of people seem to believe that negative or undesirable genes shouldn't be ameliorated or erased entirely. It may seem impassive to those afflicted, but mental and physical disorders as a result of faulty genes are negative and should be removed from the human population.
This, in my view, can be effectively achieved in two main ways: 1 Eliminate the negative genes themselves directly or 2. Eliminate the carriers of negative genes directly or indirectly.

Eugenics is the ONLY answer to long term life sustainability. If not, what's another long term solution to overpopulation? I'd start with sterilizing habitual criminals and mandatory birth control for those living on government handouts. If become self sufficient, you can get off the birth control. It's a hell of an incentive to better yourself.

Aren't eugenics kind of pointless? Humans are hard-wired to select the most attractive members of our own species. Males like girls with big boobs and look youthful. Females like men with strong muscles and look youthful. Of course, it doesn't always end up that way, I'll admit, but just because the person you choose isn't physically attractive, they could be attractive in some other way. Smarts, for example. I don't see why people need to be forced to do this, when we do it automatically.

Lead is just 1 of 100s of reasons. This is why Austism is such a big & popular discussion.The only thing I hate about the study is that it's so complex & has so many categories that anyone could be label as autistic. The expression "autistic tendencies" is wildly used to describe behavior commonly seen by autistic people.

For example, if two mentally defective people having a baby is far more likely to have a mentally defective baby than two healthy individuals who may have a recessive gene for it.
