Freedom of the Seas Cruise Ship

Just got back from a 7 day Freedom cruise in the Eastern Caribbean. Best week of my life. Staff were very friendly, and great service was provided. Lots of perks for families and couples alike. We had the smallest exterior stateroom, with only one window, yet the 4 of us could fit pretty comfortably. A suite certainly wasn't needed. Already planning our next cruise for the Oasis in 2013! :)

Just returned from 7 day cruise on Freedom. Ship is pretty amazing and if that is what you like, you can have a fantastic time. The family did a beach-type itinerary and I'm sun-sensitive. 3 shore days in 7 - all to beach locations. Yuck. The food was GREAT (gained 11 lbs), the crew was nice, especially our steward. We stayed in the "Ben & Jerry's Sweet", 6305. Nice perks for $0.

I will probably do an Alaska cruise in the future, but prefer more time *at* the destinations. 6 hrs isn't enough.

She went on FOUR fantastic ships and she loved cruises so much then she got back from her fourth one and got all haten on them. She went on.. Carnival Liberty & Dream, Liberty & Navigator of the Seas. I say thats b.s!

I have been on the Freedom of the Seas. It's a great cruise ship. It's considered as and ultra-stretch Voyager Class ship.

The Voyager class ships are also awsome (been on 3 - Voyager, Explorer and Adventure).

@CruisinBay2013 You wish QM2 is a Carnival Owned Vessle as they Own Cunard, and No freedom of the seas isn't way larger, QM2 is longer, taller than freedom of the seas, I mean even Queen Elizabeth from the 1930s is taller than freedom. Oasis is Larger than QM2 obviously, and its the only ship to greatly surpass QM2, Freedom is only considered larger because of gross tonnage.

@CruisinBay2013 QM2 is 151,400 (go to cunard website to vertefy) and freedom is 154,000 gross tons. and freedom is 63 meters tall and QM2 is 72, of course QM2 can't be longer and taller than Oasis as she must go to southampton and all the way up to the solent which oasis wouldn't really be able to turn around if it went all the way up to the solent, and QM2 has to go under the Verrazano Narows bridge, and Oasis doesn't in fact Oasis doesn't go to new york at all. QM2 has to be able to go.

@CruisinBay2013 the difference is that QM2's hull is 40% stronger because she has to cross the atlantic with passengers and she is faster. She Could just cut right, through Freedom, and Oasis. just like the QM did to the hms curacoa, you don't know that ocean liners aren't supposed to be like cruise ships, Ocean Liners are for relaxing taking stress away, head to the canyon ranch spa club or the planeterium, and cruise ships are for excitement, like water slides, rock climbing...etc.
