Old f*cking executives throwing away talent because they're too inflexible to adapt to new trends and too greedy raking in the dough to care. Time to retire, or die on the ratings. They're like newspapers. For NBC there's little hope, I'd scrap Lorne and up. HBO: documentaries are the only good thing left for them just because there's little alternative visible. TV's changing and the old-timers are too stiff to move fast enough to compete. TV is convenient for just a few more years.
Yeah, the history of Saturday Night Live is not complete without the Weekend Update and from Chevy Chase to Amy Poehler, nobody did it better than Norm. Even if the show was bland, Norm saved the day.
