  • why does the priest talks to the cup and the christ cookie? I would like to understand this symbol but I dont find any information....Help! :)

  • what a beautiful priest.

  • what a beautiful priest. this video is great.

  • All these dumb arguments. What a waste of productive time. Arguing over whether bread is bread. How is it that all this rubbish wasn't left behind centuries ago?

  • @catholicandproud1 What are you talking about? The Bible, and I assume you mean the New testament, is a collection of writings, made at different times, by ppl who never knew Christ and which seem to be about more than one person. Paul's letters are the earliest documents: he also never knew Christ. Some other apostolic letters are forgeries and as for Revelation, the Church hesitated a long time about including it because they knew ppl would have dumb ideas about it. There is no Catholic Bible!

  • Every Catholic institution has images of Mary, Jesus and male and female figures. An example of this are two statues at the French Papal Palace of Avignon, one of Jesus about 20 metres above ground level, and the other is an enormous statue of Mary, much larger, grander and higher up than that of Jesus. This gives the greater honour to Mary than Jesus. It also clearly breaks the second Commandment forbidding making images of things in heaven.

  • No human is worthy of any amount of veneration or worship because we are all sinners (Psalm 14:3, Romans 3:23); we are to worship God and serve Him only (Matthew 4:10); and God will not give His Glory to another (Isaiah 42:8, 48:11).

  • Tridentine Mass is very cool. I'm Japanese young girl, just 17 years old. Please follow my tweet @nakashoko

  • TO JEST SWIETA NAJPRAWDZIWSZA MSZA MOJE ZYCIE SERCA BICIE TOMASZ PASZEK WUPPERTAL POZDRAWIAM KSIEDZA KAROLA STEHLINA FSSPX:

  • Psalm 148:13 says, “Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.” This makes it quite clear that only God’s name (not Mary’s) is to be exalted. (In Catholic Bibles the numbering of the chapters and verses of some of the Psalms is slightly different.) When people tried to give Mary special honor and pre-eminence because she was His mother, Jesus corrected them.

  • What a lovely mass!

  • A good jew will only serve one God because that is what the old testament teaches. When jesus came that is why they would not follow him. A jew will never see three any thing "Trintity" If they could see that jesus was god in the flesh and he is still one they would have never hung him on the cross. There is only one God and his name is Jesus. A question for catholics is what is the name of the father son and Holy ghost? See all three titles only have one name.... Jesus. Read 1 tim 3:16 KJV

  • I think if you truly love God, you would have no problem embracing and learning about the best way to praise him. Which is the Tridentine Mass. if you dont feel like learning about it, then your own pride is bigger than your faith.

  • I loved the Latin Mass when I was a boy...I now love the vernacular.. it is best for the congregation to worship.. I don't think the majority of catholics want the latin to return...sorry

  • @dcrippen2000 i love this! You know what God wants! How do you have the arrogance! Maybe God likes to be praised with heavy metal, how the hell do you know? If I were God, I'd strike you down for the sin of hubris. If that isn't overweening pride, presuming to tell God what to listen to, I don't know what is.

  • @littleniyah Excuse me,that comment I posted last year was in no way directed towards you.I dont know who you are and I dont your faith tradition and I dont want to slanderize. Todiscuss why I firmly believe in the statement I made I would be willing to Respectfully discuss it with you.I was actually aiming the comment I had made towards catholics only, not towards other Christians of different faith traditions. peace and grace

  • with all due respect to my Roman Catholic brothers and sisters, i would hate to have to memorize all the movements of the hands and stuff. it's pretty, yes. pretty useless if you ask me though.

  • if u understood what is going on u wouldn't consider it useless. Last time I checked dealing with the body and blood of Christ isn't something to joke about. But I can't expect you to know that right?

  • feel free to explain to me the hand movements of the priest.

  • I believe at this point the consecration is going on, and therefore great reverence need be expressed towards the Lord. The hand being together is the Priest at prayer as you would have ur hands together if u were praying. The sign of the cross, is the blessing of the host to become the body and blood of Christ.

  • the raising of the body and blood is for the people present to venerate the body and blood of Christ.

The wiping of the hands, on the cloths are to clean the Priests hands, they are humans and standing at the altar for over an hour is not easy, so they sweat and need to wipe it off especially since they'll be placing the eucharist in the mouths of ppl.

  • I understand your views as i would not be able to do it either. It is a mark of dedication and belief to be able to do so. :)

    Pax Vobiscum!

    Don in Vegas

  • there isn't much memorization involved.

  • Evviva la Messa tridentina! Che solennità!

Essa esprime veramente in toto la Fede cattolica! :)

  • anybody know why we don't do the tridentine style Masses any more, they are amazing.

  • They're doing them now, and it is spreading far and wide.

  • Yep, I remember reading that Papa Benny is making it easier for priests to say tridentine Masses and that he wants more Masses said in Latin, even if we structure them the way we do now, (priest facing congregation and everything else as we know them today.

  • Nothing like the TLM. Most beautiful thing this side of heaven.

  • Come back to the Protestant church, you know deep down that we are right!

  • NO! you are wrong, we are the church Jesus founded on earth and have not changed in 2000 years.

  • Yeah! Come and rejoin the Empire!

  • I am not American!

  • Christ is the Head of the church and not the Pope of Rome. You follow an Antichrist who sits upon a throne in Rome. You can not argue with me because I know the Truth and you can not handle the truth about your whore church.

  • I am born again so I have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit. If you knew the Bible you would not have went running off to join the papists.

  • The Bible is the word of God, this is were you will find the truth don't be decieved by your priests into believing the lies of the Roman church. Flee to Christ.

  • Laudatur Iesus Christus in Sǽcula!

  • God bless the SSPX..

  • last week i was denied Holy Comunion only because i was kneeling upon receiving the Holy Bread. The following week, i join the SSPX and never return to that parish again...

  • Does he look like yourself? If so, he is a gay.

  • Don't mixed gay with a person free from sexuality.

  • the priest's reverence for the eucharist is beautiful and inspiring

  • Read the whole Bible and you wont understand a word, sucker.

  • Sucker, I cannot read. I don't care about the Bible. I care ABOUT THE MAGISTERIUM.

  • Lovely Mass! Can't we appreciate its beauty without the ridiculous diatribes against the Catholic faith? If you don't like it, don't watch! Happy All Saints' Day.

  • Lord have mercy.

  • I imagine this must all look very strange to someone like yourself, raised in a church that denies all tradition of any kind. But the Bible teaches- not passiveness- but the upholding of faith as much as it teaches about love and the abiding mercy of God, which I hope you find someday. The only reason Christian (Catholic) Europe survived countless attacks from Islamic states(for example) is because Catholic Armies were willing to defend what they know to be true, virtuous, and beautiful.

  • Furthermore, the book you are refering to has been refuted many times, and by many historians Catholic and Non-Catholic alike. It holds no ground. In fact, Dauchau concentration camp was made by the Nazis for Catholic priests, as well as many other camps. St. Maximilian Kolbe, for example, died in the starvation cells of Auschwitz. His story is inspirational- you should read it.

    PAX

  • fans of the catholic inquisition you love life that god gave -catholics took thousands by torture and murder enjoy your faith blood soaked that it is.

  • Forgive him, Lord, because he does not know what he is doing.

  • God have mercy on you...

  • @sunsetblueberry Yup. Amen! Take a look at HISTORY and the Word of God and you will CLEARLY see that the rcc is not Christian but anti-Christian.

  • so this is catholicism

praying and honoring the virgin mary

    confessing sins to another sinner

    praying and honoring saints idols

    praying to the Holy Rosary

instead of honoring God you honor Mary..

instead of confessing your sins to Christ you confess your sins to another sinner

and the saints praying to them so that they can help you like there gonna hear you

praying to a Rosary bunch of beads like thats going to do any good to your life

    and thats catholicism

  • You know absolutely nothing, and I imagine you think yourself wise. I mean to be a priest one day in the same order as the one you see on this video because I utterly and completely accept the catholic truth, the only truth. I was once a protestant but God has dielivered me from that state of blasphemy that I may attain salvation. The protestant faith is nothing but a pretense to christianity. It is heresy and is death to those who accept it wilfully.

  • Idol worship really? For your information images which were instigated in the creation of the temple were kissed and venerated just as they are in the catholic religion. The Holy scriptures tell of bronze snakes and other images being made and incensed during the sacred liturgy, but the Lord did say "Have absolutely no graven images." Oh Damn, God must be a hypocrite then for all these thing were done under his instigation, whatever could he have meant by "Absolutely no graven images?"

  • Also if I am not mistaken it was forever a perpetual doctrine in the Levitical faith that the angels and patriarchs were forever interceeding for the benefit of man. In revelations it makes mention of the angels mixing their incense with that of the saints, the incense meaning prayer. solar scriptura is also laughable. The Bible itself confesses to not be the fulness of the word of God for it says that there are many mysteries yet unkown to man.

  • @HonoriousIV You're misguided and blinded by Satan if you believe that Catholics don't worship Mary. Pope John Paul II worshipped Mary and prayed to her. The Pope does worship Mary! Catholics DO worship and pray to Mary. Catholics are known for venerating (worshipping) the dead. Catholics practice false worship.

  • only:

Yeah, this is the ONE holy Catholic Church which was begun by Jesus Christ and comes to us from the apostles. Your's is NOT "The Church. You're merely an assembly begun sometime after Luther. Jesus did NOT begin His church in the 1500s. He began it in c. 33 AD and gave all authority to His apostles, the 1st BISHOPS

    Bishop in the Bible? 1Tim3; Tit1:7; 1Pt2:25, 5:1-5; 1Tim5:17

    An elder=Bishop

"Be obedient to them who RULE for they watch your souls" Heb13:17

  • per my last mesg, Jesus told His apost's "he who hears you hears ME. He who rejects you rejects ME"

If the Church gives a dogma, it's 1st given by GOD!

The "word of GOD" is not limited to the Bible "alone". The Cath Church compiled the Bible anyway & is the infallible interpreter of the Holy Scriptures

The word of God comes in 3 ways:

    1. Divine Revelation (Isa 55:11; Eph3:2-12)

    2. The unwritten word or Sacred Tradition (2Thes2:15; 3:6; 1Cor11:23, 15:3)

    3. The written word or scripture

  • What does JESUS say about His mother in the Bible?

From the cross: "Son behold your mother. Mother behold your SON" and no, this is not b/c she went to live under his roof from that point.

    Jesus' words in Rev 2:28-29:

"I will give him the Morning Star. He that have an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches"

Jesus again in Rev22:16: "I am the offspring of David AND the 'bright Morning Star'.."

What IS the bright Morning Star?

This is the Blessed Mother. She leads us TO HIM

  • @deercreek7 Jesus didn't begin any church. He spent his life as an observant Jew and was quite clear that his message was for the Jews alone, as when he refused to help a Canaanite woman with a dying child because she wasn't Jewish. (that was until she made a witty reply that made Jesus laugh). Jesus teachings seem very mixed-up, some appear Indian in origin and some Jewish: possibly there are the stories of two ppl in the gospels, maybe 3

  • Praying and Honoring the Virgin Mary....Jesus honored his mother...and so did Elizabeth where it says "Who am I that the mother of my Lord comes to me?" - we give honor because honor is due - if you want to be like Christ - HONOR MARY.

Confessing to another sinner - well YINE as the Germans say-Jesus forgave sins and gave this authority to his apostles/ church - the elders of the church - ordained by bishops with this apostolic lineage have the God-given authority to forgive(basic bible bro)

  • well said!

  • @mgerman1621236 Psalm 148:13 says, “Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.” This makes it quite clear that only God’s name (not Mary’s) is to be exalted. (In Catholic Bibles the numbering of the chapters and verses of some of the Psalms is slightly different.) When people tried to give Mary special honor and pre-eminence because she was His mother, Jesus corrected them.

  • @OnlySavourChirst You got it. Satan created this counterfeit Christianity to draw people away from Christ and His sacrifice. Just as Cain vainly tried to impress God with the works of his hands, so do Catholics try to impress God with their good works and ceremonialism. Catholicism is a damnable lie that has been in the world since Cain. God will smash the Catholic Whore with His judgments.

  • idol worship pagan get out of it and seek the truth pray to the only god jehovah in jesus name .

  • remove the scales from your eyes and repudiate your heresey

  • sunsetbluberry

said the truth you need to seek the truth

  • you said the truth God Bless you

  • Most beautiful consecration I have ever seen: chilling in an amazing way. I do not agree with the way SSPV go about things, mainly their split from Rome, but at the same time I am grateful that they do what they do. At least this way the Glorious nature of the church will be preserved for when it is time to truly fix the mess of VII.

  • I love to be a Catholic :)

  • my soul is dancing! this is heaven on earth! pure beauty!

  • im vary happey to be romean catholic!

  • Oh, and not understanding a language is not the fault of the language or the Church but perhaps is a call for you to broaden your horizons and learn something new. There was a time when I didn't understand Latin. Now I do and I feel I am better off for it.

  • Also, people forget that the prayers being offered in the Mass are completely different than a protestant service. You don't need to understand him, he is praying for you. Much of the service is silence or near silence, for personal devotion and contemplation. The entire point is to recieve the Most Blessed Sacrament, and you only need a cursory knowledge of Latin to get what's going on.

  • Yes, Latin is favoured because of historical reasons. Latin is no more or less holy than any other language. Hwoever, the Latin's unchanging nature makes it a great choice for uniting the Church and its does tie us historically to our Catholic ancestors who prayed the same Latin prayers we do today. I like the idea that when I pray the Our Father in Latin, that I am praying in the same tongue as the Christians in the catacombs or St. Paul when he preached in Rome.

  • @JP2gr8 Don't suppose Paul spoke Latin. Greek and Aramaic, probably. Greek was the lingua franca of the educated in the Roman Empire. Since Paul had Roman citizenship, he doubtless spoke it.

Worst thing that ever happened to the world was those four words of Paul: "I am a Roman" because without that, he would have swiftly executed and Christianity would have fallen apart. Apostles were already bickering and splitting but Paul took it to Rome, got it heard, bad luck for the world!

  • Finally, the Church doesn't believe that God can only hear Latin prayers. Thats silly. The Church, in the Eastern Rites, celebrates Mass in a variety of languages including Greek, Russian etc. (and thats before Vatican II). Since Vatican II the Mass is celebrated in the vernacular. In my archdiocese (Toronto) Mass is celebrated in 150 languages on any Sunday. However Latin is the standard on which these translations are based. Hence the unity in the Mass, reflecting the unity of the faith.

  • By punlishing official Church documents in Latin (and the Mass) there is one universal standard that the world's one billion Catholics can appeal to in terms of translation and in dispute. Every organisation needs a standard. For exmaple, English is the standard language for all air pilots and airports. Makes sense doesn't it?

  • The Catholic Church is the most ethnically diverse organisation. Latin still acts as a unifier. When I went to Rome I was able to fully participate in the Mass because I knew and understood the Latin responses. As a dead language Latin also has the advantage of being stable. English for example is a dynamic language that changes meaning depending on both era and region. For example, if you said "Can I bum a fag" in England that would have a very different meaning in the USA.

  • love that so cool , any family needs a coman language

  • Well, the Latin as a unifier had its use from the Middle Ages even until the early 1900's where regional dialects varied greatly (this is still seen in parts of Italy). The standard use of Latin throughout Europe helped promote scholarship and the spread of religion across diverse ethnic boundries.

  • By the way 1 Cor. 14:9 refers to "the gift of tongues" NOT speaking proper languages. Also St. Paul says that if anyone speaks in tongues an interpretation should be provided. Well, the Church provides a translation of the Latin so the Church is in accordance with St. Paul on that matter.

  • Latin is only a strange tongue if you don't understand it. St. Paul wrote in Greek do you speak Greek? The Latin is used to maintain universality...the same in every part of the world. And the translation is right there in the missal so read along and pray.

  • Is it necessary to maintain universality? Cannot each national group use its own language? Why must we be compelled to worship in a language we do not understand, on the off chance that some foreigner might show up?

  • Having a sacred language also unites the church as a cultural group apart from secular society. In the same way that Jews use hebrew to distinguish themselves from gentiles, Catholics used to use latin. You should be a Christian before you're an American or whatever, nationality is unimportant.

  • I refuse to call you "pastor" so we'll resort to "deciever"...where'd you get your bible? Who actually gathered the books together for you? Who interprets it for you? Sola Scriptura is the most prideful sin...which you have embraced. Imagine God, letting people such as yourself to interpret the bible for the rest of humanity. "o the wretchedness of Judas..."

  • the bible only forbids speaking in strange tongues as the priests do during mass in latin 1 corintians 14:9 paul says, if you talk to people in a language they dont understand how will they no what you mean? you might as well be talking to a empty room

  • The parts of the Tridentine Mass that need to be understood(the sermon and the epsitle+gospel reading) are in vernacular. The epistle and gospel are first chanted in Latin, then read in vernacular. The sermon has always been in vernacular, the rest of it is in Latin because it is the preist praying directly to God, not praying out loud with a microphone so everyone can hear him (which is forbidden in the Bible).

  • Just what does the Bible know about microphones? Latin is used because the priest is praying directly to God? That's right!! God only understands Latin!!! Latin is used because it was the language of the Roman Empire, which is slim justification for forcing everyone to use it now.

  • No, the priest is praying directly to God, so praying in a different language contributes to keeping him from being showy about it, making it more about him than God. For the same reason, the priest is facing the altar, not the people.

  • there is no way to heaven except tru jesus acts 4:12 says there is salvation in no name and you cant call on anyone in heaven except JESUS (not mary) catholics add that. 1 timothy 2:5 says jesus alone is mediator (no mary) catholics have added this and they are under the curse of revelation 22:18 for adding to gods word

  • Acts 4:12 doesn't say we can't call on anyone in heaven besides Jesus, it says that no one else is our savior. It borders on heresy to say Mary is our savior. And continuing from below, Mary is sinless because she gave birth to Jesus, and the angel called her "full of grace", a term unique to her. Popes come from the early church leaders, and what problem do you have with confirmation??

  • @MuffinMojo Acts4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is NO other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • @pastorDHJ Amen! catholics think they can earn their way there, but you and i know that is a lie.Acts4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • mark 7:7 they replace gods commands with there man made teachings.. just a few catholis lies you wont find in bible purgatory, mary co redeemer, mary co mediator ,mary sinless ,mary ever virgin, rosary, anyone pray to mary, popes, baptisen a child, confirmation,

  • The official position on purgatory is not the same as the medieval thought. The only official doctrine is that there is cleansing before we go into heaven, not necessarily years and years of suffering. Individual Catholics are allowed to interpret that as they will. Also, the Mary as co-redeemer is not an official doctrine, it is simply held by many Catholics. I am not one of them. Mary is the co-mediator in the sense that you could be a mediator, if i asked you to pray for me.

  • @MuffinMojo Purgatory is a man-made money-making thing invented by the unbiblical rcc.Heb1:3 "When He had by Himself PURGED OUR SINS.".Rom8:1 "There is therefor now NO CONDEMNATION to them that are in Christ Jesus.". Psalms49:7 "None of them can redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him.".Dont forget Prov10:12 which never mentions purgatory. Acts4:12"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • shows you dont understand jesus christ work on the cross you see there is no need for a repeated mass hebrews 10:12 says our highpriest offered himself offered himself to god as ONE sacrifice for sins good for all time hebrews 10:18 there is no need to offer any more sacrifices you should research your catholic lies tradition againts gods word psalm 118:8 says its better to trust god then to trust man as jesus said mark 7:7 they replace gods commands with their own man made teachings.

  • Jesus' work on the cross continues today, the Mass is not another sacrifice, it is the continuance of the original sacrifice. It is better to trust God than man, but tradition should only be abandoned where it contradicts the bible.

  • @MuffinMojo The very record of history, (Justin Martyr, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Cyprian and Hippolytus) which the Roman Catholic and Orthodox churches love to quote as authority, proves that before 200 AD, the church viewed the bread and juice as symbols. Conversely, the earliest historical hint of transubstantiation was in the 4th century.

  • @kiwichristian2009 That's false. If you read Justin Maryr, implies clearly that the bread and wine were not merely bread and wine but the body and blood of Chist. Also you're confusing real presence with transubstantiation. Its "early hint" cannot be the early 4th century but the 12th century, it is an aristotelic account of how real presence is possible. But belief in the real presence is much much earlier and it is clear from the reading of the same authors you mention.

  • @DanVilAl Why would i read ole justy's writings, when the Bible shows us the opposite?

  • if you understood the meaning of the mass its a insult to what jesus christ did for us on the cross i put my faith in jesus as my lord and savior not some cult who spend the last 1700 year adding and changing gods word

  • That shows that you don't understand the meaning of the mass =)

Why 1700 years? YOu also believe in that myth of Constantine changing christianity to his own benefit? Calvin was wrong, I'm sorry.

  • @DanVilAl Must Christ be continually sacrificed in the mass, or was His blood sacrifice on the cross 100% sufficient to pay for all our sins for ever? In John19:30 Jesus said, "IT IS FINISHED", which in the Greek is "Tetelestai" meaning "to make an END, to ACCOMPLISH, to COMPLETE something, not mearly to end it, but to bring it to perfection or its intended goal."

  • @kiwichristian2009 No, actually we don't believe that, we believe that the sacrifice of Christ was ONE, it is not "repeated" or "done it again" but actualized, that means, made present. The mass is the same sacrifice of the Calvary, not a new, the mass is the way we have to be present at that moment. Think of a digital archive opened many times, it's not a new archive but the same made present.

  • @DanVilAl The rcc says "Christ...commanded that his bloody sacrifice on the Cross should be daily renewed by an unbloody sacrifice of his body and blood in the Mass under the simple elements of bread and wine." (The Catholic Encyclopedia,V10, Pg. 13, Article: "Mass, Sacrifice of"). Jesus never made such a command. If you'll check the references in Matthew 26 and I Corinthians 11, you'll see for yourself that the Lord's Supper is a MEMORIAL and a SHOWING of Christ's death until He comes again.

  • @DanVilAl Rome teaches that the Mass is a continual "sacrifice" of Jesus Christ, but God's word states that Jesus made the FINAL sacrifice on Calvary! This is made perfectly clear in Hebrews 10:10-12:"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever,..."

  • @kiwichristian2009 No, Rome doesn't teach that. Read the Cathecism 1330 and 1366.

  • @DanVilAl Ratranmus wrote: "The bread and wine are the body and blood of Christ in a FIGURATIVE sense" (De corpore et sanguine Christi).Bread and wine are offered, being the FIGURE of the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ. They who participate in this visible bread eat, SPIRITUALLY, the flesh of the Lord. (Macarius, Homily xxvii.) Macarius of Egypt (ca. 300-391)

  • @kiwichristian2009 First: He says bread and wine are OFFERED, so he thinks it is a sacrifice. Second: what's the greek term he uses that you translate as "figure"? The separation between symbolic and real is modern, the ancient understood these terms otherwise.

  • @DanVilAl For He, we know, who spoke of his natural body as corn and bread, and, again, CALLED Himself a vine, dignified the visible SYMBOLS by the appellation of the body and blood, not because He had CHANGED their NATURE, but because to their nature He had added grace. (Theodoret, Diologue I, Eranistes and Orthodoxus.)

Theodoret, known as Theodoret of Cyrus or Cyrrhus, 393--457

  • @DanVilAl As far as the New Testament is concerned, Jesus didn't pluck part of His flesh out to be eaten by His disciples at the Last Supper, which should be the primary example of celebrating the Lord's Supper afterwards. Where does the Bible say that the bread actually turns into Christ's flesh? The Last Supper was also symbolic, the Lord's supper is symbolic. Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross was the one true real thing.

  • @kiwichristian2009 What does "symbol" mean to you?

  • @kiwichristian2009 John 6:50 -51-52- 53-54-55 Matthew 26:26, I find it odd that protestants have no problem with making the Bible ( a Catholic book) infallible and taking its words literally even the most minute scripture and even some of the scriptures that seem to be obsurd , but when it comes to this issue they have a hard time finding the faith to believe what Christ said was true what part of THIS IS MY BODY, Is Hard to understand. It seems that they place God within their own limitations.

  • @ljmuncy09 If the Bible is a Catholic book, why does it nowhere mention the Catholic Church? Why is there no mention of a pope, a cardinal, an archbishop, a parish priest, a nun, or a member of any other Catholic order? If the Bible is a Catholic book, why is auricular confession, indulgences, prayers to the saints, adoration of Mary, veneration of relics and images, and many other rites and ceremonies of the Catholic Church, left out of it?

  • @kiwichristian2009 How funny! JESUS gave PETER the Power to make those decisions ...or are you forgetting" whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven...Peter had the authorty to call the shots there and it was passed on to those who followed after him.

  • @ljmuncy09 My friend, your context is WAY off. Jesus gave these to ALL the apostles, not just Peter. READ your Bible! He did NOT give the apostles the power or authority to "pass on" these gifts. Now, the power of binding and the "keys" is obviously the gospel of Jesus Christ. I challenge you to show me just ONE instance in the NT where the apostles forgave sins or "heard confession". On the other hand, you will see them teaching HOW to be forgiven. By going to God DIRECTLY.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Show me an instance where the apostles didnt forgive sins and didnt hear confessions.

  • @kiwichristian2009 How funny! JESUS gave PETER the Power to make those decisions ...or are you forgetting" whatsoever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven...Peter had the authorty to call the shots there and it was passed on to those who followed after him. as for your comment about a bishop..this scripture doesnt command one to be married lol it just limits them to having only one wife if the Church allows them to marry.

  • @ljmuncy09 You are a liar. God says a bishop must be married. Peter was married. Why do your popes not follow peter? If you read the Bible, you will see that an organisation that is antichrist will FORBID MARRIAGE and FORBID certain foods to be eaten. This is the catholic cult. You see, God knew what your cult was going to do to Him and His Word, so He wrote of you so clearly!

  • @kiwichristian2009 Where does it say in the bible that God commands a bishop to be marrited? NO WHERE!! When the bible spoke about a heresy that forbid marriage and certain foods that was the hersy of albenginsiaism that the Catholic Church fought against. They at no meat and marriage was forbidden! God knew that THIS heresy would arise, this cult. The Catholic Church is his church. Read history

  • @ljmuncy09 Jesus NEVER established a single bishop over a multiplicity of others;rather,He established an impartial order of service. However, men departed from the original pattern of the Bible in search of power, honor, and deification. The first indication of this desertion was when the distinction between the words, bishops, elders+pastors was made-titles that are used interchangeably in the Bible(Acts 20:17,28;Titus 1:5,7;1 Pet5:1-2; etc)thereby giving preeminence to the position of bishop.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Goodness sakes ..lol I the same old Garbage Always brought up lol...33.000 protestant denomonations and counting lol so much for Private interpertation.....

  • @ljmuncy09 You are a liar. Not ONE catholic has EVER been able to list these denominations! I am glad i am not in a religion.

  • @kiwichristian2009 Humor! Do the research! I dont have the time to name off 33,000 false churches! I can name the Church that Jesus Christ Founded and the Gates of Hell nor yourself can prevail against her! The Holy Catholic Church, May she forever be blessed!

  • @ljmuncy09 I have done the research and either you have been brainwashed by the catholic cult or are willfully ignorant and lieing. Even your own organisation says there are not anywhere near this number.

  • @kiwichristian2009 You are crazy! first of all its spelled ORGANIZATION! According to the World Christian Encylopedia, In 1985 there were 22,150 different protestant denomonations. In 1995 that number grew to 33,820......Now...Try to Research that again..... BTW..We are not an "organization" We are The Church Of Jesus Christ! Now who's Ignorant?

  • @ljmuncy09 Prove your numbers. Of course you are an organisation. And here in NZ, thats how we spell it, so stop wasting time on semantics. The church that Jesus established bares NO resemblance to the catholic organisation that we see today.

  • @kiwichristian2009 HUMOR! It is still the wrong spelling reguardless of WHERE you are from. I think I have already listed the PROOF for my rebutal. I said "THE WORLD CHRISTIAN ENCYLOPEDIA" NOW look it up!....I love it when you know you are wrong and are a hereitic, and seperated from Christ's Church, that you accuse me of resorting to semantics when you yourself have no answers. I refuse to cast pearls before swine any longer...Wallow in your own muck and continue to eat Protestant SLOP!!!!

  • @ljmuncy09 If the Bible is a Catholic book, how can Catholics account for the passage, "A bishop then, must be blameless, married but once, reserved, prudent, of good conduct, hospitable, a teacher...He should rule well his own household, keeping his children under control and perfectly respectful. For if a man cannot rule his own household, how is he to take care of the church of God?" (1 Tim. 3:2, 4-5)....

  • @kiwichristian2009 erm.. that does mean married only once. It doesn't mean must be married. I would like to point out that the early church permitted men and women both to preach and to witness, presumably that included assemblies presided over by the apostles and it was only with the advent of the misogynist Paul that women were banned. Paul is the true founder of Catholicism, a man who never met Christ and whose teachings were full of bigotry and a nasty physical puritanism that seems sick.

  • @ljmuncy09 ...The Catholic Church does not allow a bishop to marry, while the Bible says "he must be married." Furthermore, if the Bible is a Catholic book, why did they write the Bible as it is, and feel the necessity of putting footnotes at the bottom of the page in effort to keep their subject from believing what is in the text?

  • wtf,

  • Foolish idol worshippers

  • Thanks for clearing that up.

  • These offensive comments should be removed...

  • This so beautiful. This is why I became catholic.Thank you so much for this video.I'm trying to learn the Tridentine Mass so when the Pope releases the indult I will be ready. I'm a convert I have never been to a Latin Mass I can only dream and watch on youtube and wait. I pray it will be soon.PAX

  • absolutely... This most holy priest is a examply for all priests across the world.

  • what do the chimes represent?

  • What chimes?

Maybe you mean the bells, the bells are rung during the most important moments of the mass, in this case, the consecration.

  • oic, thanks. this is a beautiful mass, i've never seen one like this, usually the altar is pulled away from the wall and the priest faces the congregation. Also i like the way this priest uses expression. at most masses the priest sounds like he is bored to death and can't wait to be done.

  • This is the traditional mass, or tridentine mass, used until the 60's, and yes, the priest is not facing the congregation all the times (but at certain instances he is), like in all other traditional liturgies. Many of us want this mass back freely, for many reasons, amog them some that you've said.

  • We ring bells at consecration as a sign of joy that Our Lord is truly present from what was once bread and wine.

  • When will we have it back?

    =(

  • ...The way this most holy priest says the words of the consecration...

    Simply awe-inspiring...

  • I love this too! I go to the tridentine mass. I want it to come back. It is the "real" mass. This is how things used to be done. "Nekic" sorry about all my mean comments on the Rachmaninoff Moment Musical. It's my fallen nature.

  • Lol, don't stress about it, dude!

Silly mistakes are always made, and I've made more than my fair share...

I envy you that you go to TLM for mass... The closest one to me is an hours drive away, and I don't drive...

  • An hours drive! Aw, that's too bad. The Latin Mass is great!

  • Beautiful..
