@aggiejamz we need to do both: cut unnecessarily spending that have proven NOT to stimulate the economy (i.e. any time of trickle down economic theory, tax cuts for the rich, wasteful spending on defense) and start investing/spending on things that do matter (i.e. health care reform, tax cuts for middle class, extending unemployment and creating infrastructure jobs). @jpeditor THOUSANDS WAIVERS FOR IT - what does that even mean?! Health care reform, if anything, didn't go far enough to help this country get back on its feet. Instead it fell victim to compromised politics and Republican Thuggery. The CAGW ad is evidence of that. Next time, use some facts to back up a claim instead of USING CAPS. That implies yelling and we could use less of that and more substance in our country today.

Both parties debated over details of Healthcare Reform. Dems conceded single payer, public option, even medicare opt-in because of "GOP input" aka excuses to do nothing.

Even if it wasn't an accurate translation of the Chinese monologue, this commercial was far more accurate. The original film is so stupid as to inspire the kind of parody seen here. When will Teabaggers grow up and realize that only government spending ends tough recessions? Answer: Never.

I think CAGW isn't saying not to spend to benefit the economy, rather spend only what's needed to improve and the rest DON'T SPEND. Unless you really believe that the Bush + Obama administrations are doing a good job for our economy in which case you can vote for Huge Jidette for President in 2012. Tax and Spend is a quick way to tear an economy to shreds.

@aggiejamz Then what are you prepaired to do about it? You could dedicate 10 lifetimes or 10 trillion dollars and still could not change the trajectory of the China's economy. And a "suddenly" more frugal government for the next 2 to 6 years will not repair this problem. What we have to do is not spend to grow our economy, But spend if we must to redesign the way that our economy fuctions and fit it for the next century.

@aggiejamz we need to do both: cut unnecessarily spending that have proven NOT to stimulate the economy (i.e. any time of trickle down economic theory, tax cuts for the rich, wasteful spending on defense) and start investing/spending on things that do matter (i.e. health care reform, tax cuts for middle class, extending unemployment and creating infrastructure jobs). The most ironic thing is Communist China DID spend their way out of recession. The CAGW fails.

The sad thing is, this is actually true. A bunch of students at a community college near dc got hoodwinked into thinking they were getting filmed for Transformer 3 (since the filming was around dc) and got this instead (they were just told to laugh or look into the distance when directed).

Deport the illegal aliens, its not fair for the immigrants who immgrated here legally, my mom's bit pissed about the amnesty for illegal aliens because she came her legally, paid taxes and all the other paper work crap.
