What I loved about this show is how original it was. It was uncharted territory. Superheroes are human that age no matter how powerful they are. It had never really been discussed what happens when they get too old to fight crime. The Dark Knight Returns was one of the first as well.

I love how Terry disables Two-Face by only knocking out the evil side's gun; maybe the animators just forgot to knock out the other gun, but I think it's done on purpose. Terry "recognizing the gimmick" could be him realizing that Two-Face is only half evil, so only half needs to be disarmed.

Clones were never part of the equation.
