Hey, thanks, kyle --- I've been listening to various version of "AIK" tonight, including Jimmy Webb himself, and got to wondering if JW did the piano on Art's rendition, which is "the" one, I think. But, if it had been more successful, he probabaly wouldn't have got to do his wlak across America, his poetry, his famiyl life, his philisophical and spritiual journeys or his artistic growth. @boomerlady It was a great performance. He has a niave charm about him, which caem through in the film. You litterally though he was 19, 34 and 41 in that film. he coudl act like a virgin teenager, and then a scene later, a middle-aged Jewish doctor. Great Job.

Larry Knechtel (LA) and Paul Griffin (NYC) were the top studio musicians on piano throughout the 60's and 70's.

This is a tour de force for Knechtel. Griffin's tour de force was probably his playing on Don McLean's American Pie.
