As stated in Just a Man by Tina and Patricia Hutchence, Michael Hutchence would check into hotels under a pseudonym. One pseudonym was "MR. PUSSYCAT" after I came up with the idea for the all girl group and made up the songs for The Pussycat Dolls. This is also where Kurt Cobain's obsession with dolls came from. I am mentioned in the INXS song Reckless Ways..."I’ll take a chance with Amy, might look good on the floor". It was written in conjunction with the movie script for Reckless in 83

It was Joe Elliott of Def Leppard who discovered me in May of '83 while on tour promoting Pyromania. Mutt Lange who produced the album also had produced the Aussie band AC/DC's Highway to Hell and brought INXS to meet me in Jun of '83 when I fell in love with Hutch. I nicknamed him Max after he told me about the movie Mad Max and why he named his side project Max Q. Def Lep had been on tour with Billy Squier before I met them & used "In the dark" at the beginning of this song when I wrote it.
Hutch told me about another Australian band named the Hoodoo Gurus. This was part of the inspiration behind me writing the song "Hoodoo/Voodoo Medicine Man" for Aerosmith released on their '89 Pump album. "Read it in the papers, it ain't fair, You know who today don't seem to care, Livin' lovin' gettin' loose, Masturbatin' with a noose" - See how Michael Hutchence died. Hutch nicknamed me Haarani Tiger Lily in 1983 when I was 15 and we started a relationship. I wrote By My Side for Hutch
I sang this to an ex-girlfried in about 1990ish. Did a decent job, but it never lasted. Ah well!lol...Great song though. THANK YOU Mike and enjoy the far better afterlight mate

I heard this song one week ago in Austria at European Bikeweek 2011 "Faaker See" and I stopped at a Harley Dealer to hear the full song. Thinking about the bad and good things happend in my life since 1991.

@regeer2011 I don't know if that is where it originated, but I remember my elder brother coming back from study abroad in France in the late 80's and he went and bought the Kick album, they hadn't been heard of in Ireland at the time but were very big in France, but I remember that set of photos being part of the album :)
