Empire Earth in my opinion is the best strategy game I've ever played.

Suppose someone took the original EE game engine, upgraded the graphics, just a little, and with low priority. Added the river and bridge system and the roads? Perhaps a few new units, I tend to like some 4 legged cybers in the mix. LEAVE THE WONDERS ALONE! And perhaps a few new unique units, Make paratroopers universal.... I got lost, literally lost, I had a hard time finding my way around, in EE2 but I liked some of the features. Perhaps It's best to leave well enough alone.

Probably my pick for the best game of all time. There's nothing bad you can say about this game; when it came out in 2001 the only other contender was Age of Empires: Age of Kings, which had an isometric and bland look, as well as terrible sound (IMO). The graphics are amazing for it's time, the campaigns are awesome and educational (I learned a lot from them in fact, and they are what interested me in history), the gameplay is simple and it has THE best scenario editor EVER. Buy this game!

Hahaha, maybe you play in hard mode, start in easy.

-Understand the basic elements (start in the stone age).

-Play the tutorials,

-Play in big islands for dont make walls,

-Play in a mode when you dont change of age (for example you and you enemy are in the middle age and no more),

-Play only one enemy.

I've been playing for about 3 weeks on my first match ever, with the opponent on easy! We are both in the Atomic Age Modern(I chose it to be the final age)

this game is sooooo impossible you can't win, there isn't even a specific enemy base, the scatter everything around, me and a friend played for 13 hours straight with out even knowing it, when the enemy gets nukes just forget about playing, you can't win!!!!!!!
