believe it or not, it is actually up to the dubbing company whether to include spoilers or not. I doubt that a gaming company would care about spoilers in a tv show they dont run.
what funimation's stand on these spoilers, however, are still pretty much unknown.

Nah... It isn't a fight game like the "grand battle!" series, Shanks ans all the other past villains/bad ass characters are only in the game as bosses, i guess

Fraid you're wrong there, buddy. I can,t remember where but in one of the printed ads for this game, you can clearly see a character selection screen that has about 40 something spaces. There'll be a substantial adventure, true. But there will also be a versus mode that could be assumed will be similar to the Grand battle series.

then buy the japanese version and use the GameFAQS or something to guide yourself.

I doubt it will be edited too much, Funimation has picked up the rights to One Piece and promises to keep it true to the original.

Yeah I'm happy about that. But they don't make nor release the games, only dub the voices.

True, but isn't it due in part to 4kids' meddling that they cut out content from Grand Battle and Pirates Carnival? I kinda of doubt the localization team would be the guilty party , mostly because I think they care more about bringing over the game than whether or not they spoil a few things.
