No one is makin fun of anyone. They tell about Mineko's life in a funny way, that is a common way of making the TV programs in Japan.

Look at Mineko herself: she is not mad or anything. She says: ̈ “Oh, I was such a naughty girl. I told the girl who had brought a meal for me: You're late!”

Memoirs of the Geisha was not even mentionned.

@funkeys101 Mineko Iwasaki was the farefront off the geikos that followed her, she was a prefect and really good maiko an dlater too be a geiko :) thers a movie abt her life called hanaikusa :)

and she has her own book written :)

She satrted at a very young age and was the atotori off the iwasaki okiya (atotori means sucessor)

sorry to say but the way they describe how she went to the Iwasaki okiya is way wrong.

Her father didn't pushed her to go there but Mineko (at that time) wanted to go there herself and stayed there sometimes for months
