@absolutelysushi I think Kiedis is telling a story about saving a girl from a serious overdose.. What I take from it all is there's a girl way down on her luck, (dying from abandonment, needs somebody to hold,) and intentionally OD's, and Anthony finds her, does his best to keep her breathing and comforts her all night.. He pretty much sings that it's a miracle she made it, (looks to me like Heaven sent this for your roughest night, she looks to me.) Thats the meaning I get. my favorite song
