I thought this theme belonged to the Tria Village, until I seen it had an unknown region. Now that I think about it, it played a better role in the non-human story. Yet, a saddening role, for the human story. There's so much to this game, so many different shortcuts that'll take you to unknown places. It's out of this world. 7 years later, I'm still trying to find those hidden paths. Ahhh, RADIATA STORIES, the best anime game ever made. ^___^
6+ years later, and still waiting for a sequel! I love this game so much! I remember when I used to come running home to my PS2 everyday just to play this game! The human-side ending was so depressing, and the non-human-side ending wasn't satisfying enough! Maybe we should all email tri-ace and demand for a Radiata Stories 2 at admin@tri-ace.co.jp!
omg the kicking is so addictive. and thats really something for me to say, having beat the game 3-5 times replaying through fully. this is my fave rpg of all time!
Gawd, I love this game infinitely. Periodically, I still dust off my PS2, practically turning the house upside down, just to play this game. And this is probably my favorite song from a score that deserves a Grammy.
Whoever composed the soundtrack for this game is a genius. And this is just the tip of the iceberg :)
The composer you're looking for is Noriyuki Iwadare. He's famous for doing the LUNAR game soundtracks. Those are great, and so is the really eccentric RS soundtrack.
I found this song soothing, and I really think you should look into some of the music in Astro Boy Omega Factor and listen to the only song from Monty on the Run SD
Radiata ruled. Awesome story with plenty of every theme and element in it. Including the one thing that every RPG nowadays seems to lack... HAPPY. Where did the happy and humor go?
On top of this, the game had an amazing soundtrack.
wow lol youd think with the 140+ million systems sold, you wouldnt find someone still looking for a PS2 that hasnt already had one YOU GO BROTHER (btw theyre both good systems, my friends berate me for trading in a 360 for a Wii but I love the Wii, but PS3 is much better IMO) id recommend a PS3 but only the older systems have backwards compatibility, but I heard theyll be rereleaseing PS2 games through their PSN store as downloads, in the end its up to you oh and PS3 doesnt have too many RPGs
OMG im a radiata stories fan lol favorite game forever!!!!! one of my favorite lines in the game----(Jack Russel-alright ridley hope you're ready, what no way, ridley's a girl, sheesh a i was looking forward for a real fight.........oh man i suck at holding back.....)

This game kicked so much ass. So much. And it's really jarring once you hit "that" plot twist about halfway through.

Ganz and ridley only rejoin if you go to the nonhuman side of the story, which is understandable. who isn't waking up from the system in real life...

Paya-Paya needs to appear on this list. It's so ridiculous that it works perfectly for the game.

this game is so awesome, but you practically HAVE to have a guide, at least if you want to get the good chars.

I saw this game at Gamestop, and just had to pick it up.
I haven't gotten very far into it, and already it's becoming one of my favorite games. :3
It takes me forever to progress, because I go around and kick EVERYTHING. XD

Funny that you have to beat up your own sister just to get a CD of this in the game.

I loved this game, it was really easy going. And it's one of the few JRPG's that gives you an actual gameplay-altering choice.
