Ah right. So if you take the BTEC then it pretty much is the only thing you do. I'm not sure on the taster day, we went into this room and we had to edit a short scene together of this blond guy (who was out teacher for the editing) walking up to a room, entering and turning a PC on. Anyway he said that the National Award is part-time course, which means that you can do other A-levels as well.
Congratulations on your win! I have just come back from Cirencester College for the 'Choices at 16' induction day. I did a Pratical Media Production thing with a guy called Oogoo and we made a little 10 second animation. He showed us your work. You obviously put a lot of effort into it so well done!
Yep. I have decided I'm definitely going there. It's quite upsetting because pretty much all of my mates are staying at Sixth Form. We really all want to stay together and it's really sad that we're not. But yeah Ciren looks great, what course did you do? There is some B-Tec thing or there is a National Award in Media Production, it's all very confusing. Lol.
Yeah I know how that feels. Don't worry, u'll find more friends, and its best to do what u want to do. There's nothing to say u still can't hang out with them in ur own time
I did a BTEC, which is the same thing as the National award, or it was the last time I checked. Its basically the same as 3 A-levels and its great if u really want to get into the Media world. U can make a lot more films than the other courses, and there are no exams. Just lots of essays though. Still, if u'r not totally sure, u can always just A-level Media course, and take over courses as well. U can take another course with a BTEC like I did, but it won't be easy, I can tell you. Hope it heps
Hi Callum It's Calum We Met At the young film makers festival in bradford. i just wanted to say well done for winning the bfi, congratulations callum i hope i will be winning
to one day. your film is cool, keep up the good work.
well just finished a 33 minuite film based 70% under water on a budjet of a value pack of toffee crisps with the same characters so yea guess the money wouldnt of been an obsticle, but yea sounds good fun, are you going to give the language contest thing a go?
I'm doing ok. I went to Framestore 3 weeks ago, and met David Lipmen, my mentor and the producer of Shrek 1 and 2. I suggested my ideas to them, but the BBC has strick guidelines, so i need to rethink some ideas first.
sounds pretty good though the strict guidlines bit sounds pretty harsh though, guess my epic space oprea would of been out the window then, ah well, also saw ur red dwarf video, loved it
