I think American knows whom really won, I believe that had Danny's home town been given the cell phones that he would have won. All three last contestants were great. Danny like Adam is in a class and league of his own. We're waiting Danny for your album.

Danny's single will be out on December 22 and his album in March. He will be on Idol (2010) to promote his cd. I have heard 4 of his songs and they are fantastic!

I LOVE IT!
i started crying watching this video. i fell in love with danny gokey the first time he auditioned and he made me cry when he told us about his wife. and of course he still misses her and its still hard on him. im just very glad that he auditoned because now the whole world loves him and hes just so amazing. for me theres no guy out there in this world like danny. danny always touches my heart and hes amazing.

it is soooo sad i mean he loved sophia deeply and at the aditions when he got it he said this is for you sophia i thought that mabey she wasn't there but when i herd she died i cryed i new it was hard for him it made me sad be cause my boyfriend got killed the day after sophia did i am not makeing it up

I love Danny... this is SO sad video to see him smiling in the pics with her is sweet... but to know that he doesnt have her to hold like that anymore.. I feel for him (like most of America)... SO MUCH... this song fits exactly ho he feels now probably. I think it should have been adam and danny in the top two... i like... literally cried myself to sleep the night he got voted off... if you agree with any part of this video at all, reply to it and tell me what part, maybe "why", and ur thots. :)

Im definately glad he still loves her, too bad. She died from heart faiolure when she was only like 27... thats depressing. You know what??? it was like a couple of weeks b4 he tried out for american idol!!!! Isnt that sad??? Also, i wish Jamar could have gone on in the season with him. You could tell when he was singin jesus takes the wheel and emotional songs like that.. he started cryin. u can tell he still misses her.. (duh. of course he would.) WRITE BACK!!!!!!!

I love the video! It made me cry. Though I don't know him very well, we have mutual friends, and I wish I would have met his wife. She looks beautiful in her pictures, and I'm sure her heart was as beautiful as it says. Danny, you are in my prayers, you have been since I found out you were on AI. Danny sang from deep down in his soul. No fancy stage sets or props... no acting job or kissing up. He's the real deal and I will always believe that Paula dogged him. He should go on to be a big success, he is amazing!!!!!

It amazes me the amount of strength Danny has after losing his wife so recently. I loved him on idol~he has such a soulful voice and is so talented in more than just singing. You wife will live on in so many of us because of your tribute to her.
