Tomita, Jarre, Froese & TD, Vangelis, Carlos, the guys from Kraftwerk... all of them created the electronic music, and no one would create such great music anymore...
brilliant, ive been a fan of his since the late 70s and to be quite honest,i dont think he has produced a bad album to date.i know he is quite old now but i hope he finds it within hiself to come up with a album soon.tomita, you are truly a master.
I once went to try n get the sleeve notes from sound creature translated , way back in the early 70,s ,£40 a thousand characters then !! needless they remained in original form lol
Isao Tomita Grand Genius ... The teacher of teachers. The analog audio tape recorders, synths ... Tomita is for me an icon. One of the largest or the largest. A hug for him and for all.
He's visiting a radio telescope to get some waveform data from stars to feed into his digital gear for his album Dawn Chorus (also known as Canon of the Four Stars, released in 1984). Then he's using his older Moog synthesizer to filter it and create a train rhythm in his example.
Excellent even if I don't understand a word of Japanese I like to see the master Tomita each time it's possible.
