  • My favorite part: Love God, love yourself, and love your hair :D

  • how long did it take you to grow your hair over 20 in??? I'm dying to know!

  • Hair porn!!!!!

  • Hair porn...lol!

  • Love your attitude!

  • Hey lady! This is great! You seem to be in pretty good shape, so I assume you work out. What do you do with your hair when you exercise? I'm transitioning and am hoping to do braid outs for most of my journey.

  • lovin your hair

  • I'm 5'10! it's cool to see someone else that's tall. You should definitely model.

  • Awesome advice!....it's helping me right now.

  • Hair Porn lol!

  • That was a great vid!!!

  • Huh... dip the rubber bands in oil before applying to hair? Smart, I like it! Subbing!!!

  • love your hair! I have transition for 6 months. I can't wait til my hair looks like yours!

  • if you're having trouble transitioning, you can use clip- in hair extensions to gain some length. I've been transitioning for about a year and a half now and honestly, i'm not struggling...

  • i want to transition but how do i start can i have weave in?

  • ahaha your brother is soo funny. im sorry it was cruel but siblings man they are sooo funny

  • Hello, I am new to utube. So, I hope that I am sending my question to you correctly. I would like to know what products you use. I was watching your videos but I do not know if I missed the video over the products that you use. I have not had a perm in six months. So, I am trying to get some ideas on some products to use. Thanks for your assistance.

  • For some reason i can comb through my natural hair easily but not through my relaxed hair weird.

  • @MsSlytiger I'm the same way... my hair gets tangled up rite where the two textures meet. I would've thought it would be the other way around and be hard to comb thru the new growth.

  • Your brother was so cruel. :\

  • @TawanaNicole I partly agree, I think the natural part is a HUGE issue in the black community. Too many of us want to conform to what is deemed beautiful THINKING others will mock our hair. Many blacks respond entirely differently when they c long locks and when they c long silky indian hair for example. Other communities see beauty in our hair regardless of length if it's well groomed. Many blacks still don't believe kinky hair is equally gorgeous, even with equal length, becos of the media.

  • I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE THAT QUESTION!!!! What are you gonna do with your hair -_____- . Even if i did explain it too you would you understand? And i guess my mom swears i make my info up because I'll be telling her stuff and she'll tell me im wrong??? When she hasnt worn her hair in its Natural state in over 20 years!!

  • @WeirdAlysa omg completely agree! &when i mention cowashing, first i get looked at sideways then i always get "so how is your hair gonna get clean?" -_- i'm just like -- TRUST i know what i'm doing. lol

  • i'm a hair porn addict...lol

  • smh soo true.. wen i first was going natural my aunt was like girl u need 2 get that relaxer..i was so frustrated nd was like "I DNT WANT 2 and i dnt need it !!!" now a year into my transitioning my aunt saw me last week and said she LOVES my hair and i made the rite choice :) im happy i didnt listen cuz i never was going 2

  • Good information, you talk really fast though. Hard to absorb everything.

  • My relaxed hair isn't breaking, but it's tangling like crazy.

  • Great Video, I'm loving the direction that your channel is going. Keep it up Chime!

  • *chuckles* did you just say "go look at some hair porn?" maybe i heard wrong...but if you did...thats hilarious...lol

  • i bet the ppl who called you krusty the clown now call you for tips!

  • Cool :-)

  • Great video! I'm a transitioner and most people have been supportive except my little brother lol but I just tune him out anyways

  • Can you tell or list which products to use or what works well. Because you do have to change products since you have to treat the relaxed hair as if it was natural.Ex: shampoos, protein treatments, styling products...

  • Ive been transitioning since January, I just hope my hair grows as long as yours is lol ;) luv your channel by the way

  • This is a very good video. Thanks for the encouraging words. The best quote was: If they don't get it now, they will eventually get it. Like you said don't worry about it now. Cause people will eventually understand. it just takes time. We all can agree. Peace and God Bless.

  • I love this video! I'm not a transition... Been natural for almost a year now but it's true what you say. Ppl won't get it at first but eventually they will. I had that problem but once I went natural and got a hang of what I was doing the same ppl love my hair and wish they had the courage to do the same.

  • @TheCoilWhisperer Case and point: this past weekend I hung out with some family rocking a braid out. When I walked through the door everyone started fixing their over processed relaxed hair... I even got a "your hair looks very becoming" from one person... she's older so you gotta take what you can get. But yeah, ppl aren't going to get it at first but they will eventually.

  • You should do like a, "Get ready with me" video, where you do your hair and make-up!

  • @brionnakennedy I started off wit bantu knots n Tha beginning but now i really wear wigs and a puff is my everyday go to style?

  • shedding and breakage are different...healthy people shed normally not excessively and the hair strand will hv a white bulb at the end...breakage is due to damage and happens at weak points on the strand such as the line of demarcation

  • @rwill117 Yes, they are absolutely different. I meant to say breakage instead of shedding. I misspoke :)

  • do you ever flat iron?

  • I have natural hair and I see that little hairs on top of my hair what should I do

  • Lol! Nice :) I really love you youtube video's. They're such an inspiration for people like me who are trying to go natural.I've already shown your videos to some of my friends and now i've helped to convenced them to start going natural. You're the best!

p.s. and i've been trying to do the pincurl thingy but it's just not working. i think im sticking the bobby pins in my head wrong. What's the right way put them in??

  • what was your transitioning style?

  • I use coconut oil to keep my hair moisturized and sometimes I use a mixture of oils

  • Im not a transitioner but i love the video!

    Im natural

  • LOL...Hair Porn!

  • I defiantly have a hair crush on u lol.. The say you have to be bold to big chop which is what I did I couldn't deal with transitioning. I respect and admire women who transition for a long period of time because I know it takes patient, which I don't have!!

  • How long did it take for your hair to get that long and Wats best for kids staying natural?

  • Thanks for the advice, that was very helpful

  • @Gothika52 she showed it when she did like, her twistouts and braidouts.

  • love that necklace!

  • Have you already shown your hair just after the shower?

I mean, after a wash'n'go, I'd like to see your hair before the braid out! What is the texture of your hair, very shrinked like kinky hair? or curly like 3b-3c hair, or wavy???

  • Are you going to do a Naturals Q & A?

  • @GwendolynRaine Yep! Coming soon!

  • @HairCrush k, dont 4get ! =)

  • wow. your brother's not very nice.

  • @AfreensHair I wonder what he's saying now?

  • Im at the very early stages of transitioning like 2 months in and most people family and friends not even my mom supports my decision so thanks for the advice!!!

-watching any of your videos is like Hair porn at its finest, love ur hair!!!!

  • CAN U GIVE ANY TIPS/PRODUCTS 2 DEAL WIT FRIZZ WHILE TRANSITIONING I AM 10MONTHS POST RELAXER AND ALSO RETAINING LENGTH

  • @MsYellaBoneStar what transitioning styles do you wear??

  • lol @ go look at hair porn!! lol Hell thats what I am doing now by watching you!! Hoping, wishing and praying that my hair will look half as good as yours do!!

  • Thats all I hear is negativity about my hair!! I just laugh and think that in a year or so they are gonna be asking me advice on how can they go natural. You hit it on the head about what family and friends will say!!!

  • I love what u say about negativity! my boyfriend loves that I'm going natural but my friends are very negative telling me that natural hair is crazy...I say just wait!! lol but thanks for the vid. love it!

  • you are so so so lovable. Yea i live in china so there is no hair like mine here.. it is tough sometimes.. but i love what you said "if they dont get it now, they will eventually" haha.

well said; keep doing what u doing ;) oh hope all is safe and sound with you since the crazy twister attack! yikes.

  • you give such great tips!

  • Hair Porn, hilarious. Thank you again for a great video, got my blockers on!

  • Ooooh, I want my hair really long too. Lol, I'm just getting impatient I have really beautiful thick hair but I'm just reallllly impatient. :-/

  • Re the comments from family u are so right! lol. My Sis n law was always digging in my head while I was transitioning saying.."girrrrrrrl, what is going to happen? and what are you going to do? lol" she would have me scared, and wondering what I was going to do. lol..but now she praise my hair ALL the time. Same exp with my hubby.. and now he Loves it.. So yes they will eventually get it. Like Chime sd..we have to stick to our guns the entire process...

  • I'm not a transitioner, but I watched the entire video anyways, just so I could drool over your hair :-)

  • @theglassdolls LOL, too funny, I know right! I am a transitioner, but if I wasn't I'd sure be looking!!!

  • Great Vid!!! The tunnel vision aka having Blockers on is great advice and I needed to hear that!!! Thank you!!!

  • they will get it when my hair is down to my waist, yep! lol

  • Thank uuuuuuuuuu I don't manipulate my hair when its dry. I don't know why so many naturals do! I swear u make so much sense & u keep it short & simple.

  • ur brothers mean, i wanna beat him up, lol! u better teach him whats what with us naturals. ;-p

  • Great Video Chime! I have a quick question....How often do you get your hair trimmed now? I just got a fresh professional trim today, and I really want it to keep growing because I want to retain as much length as possible and was wondering how often I should keep this up. I was thinking every 6-7 months.

  • I agree!! You can't worry 'bout it now! I always tell the negatives (people talking negative) that I have a goal! U have to stay focus and be determined. I have people ask me when I am going to perm it LOL!!! I just laugh and say NEVER! It's okay because they do not understand....now people are loving my hair and it is only at collarbone when streched LOL!

  • Thank you for this video! The information was very helpful and encouraging!

  • Dang your brother was Harsh! Thanks for the info great video.

  • Lol "Go look at some hair porn or somethin" LOL. You so silly but that's exactly what I do when I get frustrated w/ my hair. It really makes you feel better :)

  • YAY!!!

u finally come out with another video

    it seemed like forever lolz

  • Great tips...thank you! And you are so right about needing to block the negative comments about natural hair. x

  • beautiful hair! would you say your hair has a fine or coarse texture? (we already can see youve got a looooooot of whatever texture it is) :D

  • thanks 4 the vid!
