It's hard for me to see a story as well, so I will assume there is none. But I am also assuming you haven't played FFX (PS2)?
First is the scene where the protagonist saves the main love interest-ish girl from her wedding, then a scene where the main characters blow up the "Home" of a "tribe" called the Al Bhed (not for hateful reasons),
(Ran out of space.) and then some scenes that are so short that I either don't recognize them or haven't gotten to them yet (picked up the game again for the first time since I gave up on it in 2001 :P).
Then again, I saw this video two years after you, so you may have already found this out/known this from the beginning.
