It had a full season in which Los Angeles won the championship, then folded before the next season due to low ratings and lack of profits. It did produce future NFLers such as Tommy Maddox of Pittsburgh. Vince wasn't trying to compete with the NFL but give an alternative and make more money. It was a pretty cool league too
