This video made me cry and cry because it's like seeing myself. I have many more symptoms than just these but this video reflected enough to let me know I need to get help for it. For years I have tried to ignore it and I'm ruining myself and hurting others in the process. Nobody can understand if they aren't going through it themselves. Ty for this.
@lightgirl66 I'm sorry it made you cry but hope you can post it to others around you, to show them what you live with day to day- sometimes pictures and a few words can say more than massive posts & lectures about our condition, sending you hugs, Hetty
thanks for posting this video, a doctor that never seen me before diagnosed me with this condition and my family doc who i've known for years disagrees with his assessment... who to believe? I stick to this new doc because I struggle with this every single day
@Cindy221 Hi Cindy, stick with the doc who recognises your condition as fibro, hopefully you will get more help and support from the doc that says its not!
Awesome, Thanks for posting this video!!!!! People need to understand what we are going through on a daily basis!!! This is a struggle that weak people can not without support and medical attention can not withstand!!!!
have been having is probably not related to my diabetes at all. My blood sugars are totally under control now and very well managed with meds. My body feels like it is probably 60 or 70 yrs. old and I just turned 30 not even a month ago. I am waiting on a call back from my dr. and I am going to do whatever it takes to figure out this mess. But I know it is already Fibromyalgia. It hurts just to say that..
I have not yet been diagnosed but I have every single symptom in this video and then some....Everyday is challenging and soooo difficult to bear....I am only 30 yrs. old and have a 12 yr. old son and he see's first hand what pain I endure constantly. It all started out very slow and over the past year has come on full force. September of last year I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 and that was an emotional roller coaster for me. I now can see that alot of the leg and foot pain that I
This video misses out on many symptoms reported by FM sufferers. These include: vertigo, tinnitus, speech problems (slurring, stuttering, forgetting words, etc.), fizzing noises at the back of the neck/base of skull, numbness and tingling in the extremities, TMJ, tremors and facial tics, infections and skin rashes. These all point to a BRAIN problem, not a mental disorder or some weird kind of arthritis.
Btw, I have friends with FM, and they have reported these symptoms that are often ignored by doctors. Many doctors have a piss-poor bedside manner as it is; when confronted with FM, they dismiss it as delusions, hypochondria, a desire for attention, mental illness, or really bad arthritis. This only serves to make FM sufferers feel even worse, as nobody takes them seriously. Doctors need to be made to realize that FM is a REAL illness that needs a real cure.
@ElveeKaye you can appreciate that there are so many other conditions linked to FMS, it would be impossible to list them all, this video was made with the idea of informing people who may be newly diagnosed and need reassurance they have a very real condition., but thank you for your comments.
@Hetty2767 Thank you for putting up this video! I know people with FM, and it makes their lives miserable. Having a doctor say they are imagining it just makes them even more depressed. More doctors need to take this disease seriously.
@7777dmith7777 remember that you said that so when you see me walking in pain because i refuse to take pain medication which in essence only masks the pain remember im at the store up and doing something to provide for my family and be patient if im walking to slow or don't stare when u see me and wonder why i walk the way i do--tell that to my husband who has to give me vitamin b-12 injections and see the pain im in..just remember i do more than u can ever imagine in pain u have no concept of
thanks for posting-I feel now I can explain to my family and friends easier just by posting this onto their profiles...Im sick of trying to make people understand .Im worn out by it. now you made it easy.
@7777dmith7777 what like you did? post a comment that insults people with REAL problems? and for your info -I do get up and do something every day like many of fybro sufferes.I wish you good health.
Well done video, these kinda vids help family and friends relate that have no clue to the true Miserey this illness brings May Yahweh Bless all of you! I know it is a daily battle keep fighting the good fight we are very strong people and we can't let this illness beat us! STAY STRONG!
Great Video as it captures without words from others with speak volumes. My support group is at Real Pain on facebook. chat or just take the info I have to better your everyday life as nobody but many will hear us.
I had been going through testing for a year, i have most of the fibro symptoms, plus bad foot pain. I cannot go to school.........the only reason my doc ruled out fibro is of my age, i'm 15.....he told me its my head doing tricks............is there a chance for fibro at 15???
@xSimplyAmusedx I understand how you feel I just got diagnose about 1year and half ago but I now know that I been sick since I was about 7yr old. So yes is possible. I'm 36 now and there is days can't walk or even feed my self.
Really loved this video! :(.... ... ... So discourage and depressed. My Dr. said this was more mental than physical?!?!?! WHAT?DOES?THAT?MEAN? Anyways, thank you for sharing this. I also made a video. Check it out if you would like :) ♥
Many doctors think this is more of a mental condition or " in your head", how can not being able to walk be more of a mental condition? We know this illness is very real and debilitating. Sometimes its easier for people to disregard the things they don't understand!
I just wanted you to be very well aware that this illness is NOT ALL IN YOUR HEAD. If this is what your doctor is saying to you then you need to change doctor's . New research has discovered this illness is to be Neurological and it stems from the Central Nervous System where are Nerves are ultra senstive to pain. I was diagnosed 3 years ago and live everyday with this illness. All my best to you and please find yourself a good doctor that is well educated in Fibro.
@rc4gvn my dr who has been treating me recently referred me to a shrink. I'm like.. lol. really?! for what?
This illness is horrific. UN-REAL. And sometimes it just has me plain ol' broken and in tears. Feeling alone because no one really understands me. Sometimes thoughI don't blame them because I even, I am baffled by it. STay strong friend and hold on.... =)
hi thank you for the video..it was perfect. i was just diagnosed with fibromyalgia on wed august 25 2010...months and months of testings and blood work...finally saw a rhuematoloigst because my family dr thought it was RA but my ra dr told me that it was fibro....nice video. thanks
I have suffered from fibro for 10 years now. It is the worst it has ever been t his year. I really don't know where I am going from here.
This video says it all and for those who don't understand what we go through watch this a few times and imagine yourself living everyday with this kind of pain. Don't look down on us or ridicule us. Just accept us and love us. we did not ask for this syndrome. It chose to invade our bodies. It could happen to you too. :)

@tiredofbeingsick that's awesome! My metabolism is so slow! Check out my channel vivavanstyle when you have a chance...I invite you to watch my videos. I'm trying to spread Fibromyalgia awareness in a very POSITIVE way :) Hugs

FIND A NEW DOCTOR i was 14 when i was diagnosed! Infact go to a pain Dr that deals with Fibro
Many Drs will leave you in tear's because they have no clue what to do and many of them leave you
with out hope don't loose hope if you have this illness it is not mental but you will meet many Drs who
will not beable to help there is nothing long term that works and at your age they won't be able to help much
You have to learn how to not let the pain take over ill be praying 4 u
