There are a few discrepancies between this movie and the first, but as far as sequels go, it does hold up very well. I absolutely LOVE the cinematography; it's beautiful. And the soundtracks to the first two installments...magnificent!
Nothing against Barbie Wilde, but her portrayal of the cenobite (slit throat) pales next to Grace Kirby's portrayal in the first. She REALLY creeped me out!
@vergilheartnet I think Channard (the new cenobite) was attached directly to the Leviathan (the god of flesh and desire) making him very powerful, even more so than pinhead. Also, I think Leviathan took away some of the cenobite's power of they began remembering their former selves and tried to help Kirsty.
