You know, credit cards can actually be just as troublesome. In the hands of an elderly person, getting that black strip slid downwards is the maneuver of the week. But what holds up the flow the worst, would have to be WIC and other types of welfare aid. Most of those customers don't come in till near midnight, but every once and awhile...

I'm sure it is. You guys get the brunt of the pissed off people who are in the slow line because the idiot takes forever to write the check, then you have to check the various ID's, and wait for the criminal background check to be done. Hell a person has to jump through more hoops to use a check than they do crossing the US border
